With the way Counsell is hitting and I know he won't hit this great all year but ride the hot hand. He should be starting just about everyday at one of the three infield positons until the other guys hit or he cools off. -
Hey rest of NL, Ryan Braun is heating up and you are all so screwed! Also what a hell of a assist out there in LF. But Prince, what was that? 3 base running errors for the team in two games.
-
I think Yost has a ego. He always makes moves that seem bone headed because he wants to prove people wrong and show that he is right. It isn't working very well though.
-
That sounds about right to me. Although it worked last night having Suppan bunt I don't want to have to rely on that every game.
-
Exactly he pulled this crap last season all the time with Cordero.
-
Yeah Braun ripped those two doubles and just missed a HR in his first AB. Hopefully he has learned to lay off the outside pitch in the dirt and get back to mashing.

Is Rickie's Production A Concern?
BrewCrewForever replied to afeter's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I would like to see Hart leading off. Just my two cents. It's not a bad point, I mean they did seem to play their best ball last season when Hart was leading off didn't they? What was the teams record in games Hart led off? -
If we have the lead today, since Gagne only warmed up should we pitch him?
-
I can't believe everytime Counsell is in the lineup I'm actually happy.

Is Rickie's Production A Concern?
BrewCrewForever replied to afeter's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I'm still not sure how I feel about Rickie. I don't want to give up, but his lack of production is really hurting right now. -
If this is the only start Sheets misses I will be very happy. I just hope this isn't more serious then they are leading on.
-
Couldn't agree more. I would even go as far as to call that a "lazy" play by Gabe Gross. I still can't figure out why Braun fielded that ball in the first place. All will be taken care of on April 29th when Mike Cameron is in CF.

Only Andy Pettitte "misremembers".
-
Well the 29th will be a good day. We will for the first time all season be at full strength.

Love the thread Woogie! It's Ned Yost and is ever growing ego vs the Cardinals today. Haha. In all honesty I hope Parra has a hell of a game and the bats get rolling, I think Braun is ready to bust out after those two doubles yesterday.
-
I'm normally a Yost defender. But come on Ned, using him to get his confidence up in that situation? At some point doesn't it come down to production instead of not hurting guys feelings? This is a big boy league.
-
I was at the game. I cheered and clapped for Turnbow when he came in, thought I would give him a chance to get the job done. He got in during a pressure situation and blew it. Sorry Derrick, your dead to me.
-
Okay complete list of bobbles I'm interested in, just make any offer. Eric Gagne (Any Gagne bobble) Bob Uecker 2001 SGA or Pepsi Vinny Rottino 2005 Beloit SGA Gorman Thomas 2004 White SGA Ted Simmons 2007 White or Powder Blue SGA Don Money 2004 Beloit SGA Ben Sheets 2002 SGA
-
Sorry Matt don't have a paypal account. Also would prefer to trade rather then sell.
-
I have seen Rottino's go for around $20 and Thomas for $10 and Turnbow for around $30. Seems decently fair. I also said I would listen to other offers.
-
Still looking to trade this bobble. http://mail.google.com/mail/?attid=0.6&disp=emb&view=att&th=118900544296c956 Would like to get a Vinny Rottino Beloit bobble and a white Gorman Thomas bobble in trade. But will listen to all and any offers.

Interesting Perspective on Brewers from MLB Player
BrewCrewForever replied to fondybrewfan's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
One of the things I love about Braun is the little swagger he plays with. It's not way over the top, but it's there. He's good and he knows it and is confident in his talent. I love it.
