    The only ex-Brewers I booed when they come to Miller Park are Gary Sheffield, Jeffrey Hammonds and Wes Helms.

    What sucks is this is the same day as Braun's bobblehead in Milwaukee. I already have tickets for that so I will have to skip Gallardo.

    I personally wouldn't boo Cordero or Jenkins. But yeah they will get it big time I'm sure.

    Yeah Kendall got a very bad rap for that contract just because he wasn't a power hitting catcher. He never has been I dunno what the Pirates fans expected? I mean he is a guy who can hit .300 give a you a good OBP and quality AB's has good speed for a catcher and plays very solid defense. I think he is actually quite underrated. Just doesn't hit the long ball.

    I said it earlier, and i'll say it again. I'd rather have Sheets than Fielder. Prince is a nice player, but simply put, #1 pitchers are much tougher to find than great 1st basemen (especially if LaPorta turns out to be decent). I think I have to agree with that. If they keep Braun long term and LaPorta is the player everyone thinks he will be and Sheets has a great full healthy season I think I to would almost rather throw the money at a #1 pitcher then Fielder. Don't get me wrong I love Prince, awesome guy and player. But I'd rather keep our ace and Braun along with a couple of the other youngs guys (Hart, Weeks and Hardy) then have Prince and no ace. We shall see though. And of the group of Hart, Hardy and Weeks I think Hardy is the one I would let go there because we have Escobar waiting in in the minors who everyone is very high on.

    Man what a game. That is the Ben Sheets that I know. Even during the last couple injury plagued seasons for Ben every time he toes the rubber I feel he can have a performance like this. There are not to many pitchers you can say that about, Ben Sheets is for sure one of them.

    I love the fact that we don't have anyone on this team this season that really "sucks" like we have in the past. No AAAA type players. Every guy on the 25 man is a decent major league ball player. Gone are the days where we have Magruder, Durrington, Mosquera, Grieve and players of that sort. It's much nicer this way.

    Man with Sheets healthy and pitching the way we all know he can I think he might win 18-20 games this season with a ERA around 3 and rack up a lot of K's. I just hope to God he wants to stay here and we can offer him the money to keep him here.

    Well I will be missing the game. I have to help my fiancee do "wedding stuff" today, hiwch basically means get pulled around to different places looking at stuff tht I will jsut let her pick anyway. But I will have up to date text messages being sent to me all day. On paper we have Sheets going and should win and sweep this series. But we don't play them on paper, we play them on the field. I know we can do it, I just don't want to get to high like I did for the potential Cubs sweep. But I do think Ben will pitch another great game.

    I dunno what will happen but if Parra continues the way he did today and Bush pitches like he did on Thursday then I would hope to God they wouldn't send Parra down.

    Well I know it is only 1 save. But he sure looked good today. 94-95 with the fastball and throwing a nasty change and curve. Hopefully this will give a big confidence boost and keep it rolling.

    Yeah I agree. I'm not a huge fan of the ball and glove logo. I like it, but think it is overdone. But if they started making more merch with that logo in the current color scheme I would be okay with that. Like a alternate hat for the team with the ball and glove logo in the current colors. I bought a Braun shirt today at Wal-Mart that has the "Milwaukee" on the front. I will take a pic later and post, looks fantastic.

    Man it sure would be nice to finish them off tomorrow. And Zito sure isn't the pitcher he once was and we should have the "A" lineup in tomorrow and Big Ben on the mound. How about we get him some runs tomorrow so he can get a "W".

    We won with 3 bench players starting and our 5th starter throwing. That is nice.

    I love Uecker, but yeah sometimes he just doesn't have it.

    That was the Gagne that I know and love and was so dominate in LA and Texas. Hopefully that will put some of the nay sayers to rest. The changeup he struck the first guy out with was nasty.
