  1. Phillies fans standing the whole game. When the Brewers loaded the bases in the 5th in game one of the WC my buddy stood up and a guy behind us yelled at him to sit down.
  2. I said it in the game thread but I've now attended more road team playoff series clinching games here than the Brewers have total playoff series wins in their history. It's just not that fun anymore.
  3. I've now seen more road team playoff series clinchers in person in Milwaukee than the Brewers have playoff series wins in their entire existence
  4. Been since the beginning. Absolute joke of a crowd. 1000s of empty seats. Shockingly low energy. People streaming for the exits after the 8th inning in a one run game like it's a meaningless regular season game. Absolutely embarrassing. I'm completely disgusted.
  5. No explanation from the announcers whatsoever, like it's something that happens all the time.
  6. Looks good. I'd add Club level info to the "Best seats" section. The seats themselves on the Club/300 level are a little wider and padded and generally more comfortable than the other levels which offers a bit of a reprieve if you and your friends are on the bigger side. Plus you can hang out at the Skyy Lounge if it's too hot/boring/whatever and there's elevated food options too. And you can snag decent seats on the secondary market for weekday games in the 35ish dollar range.
  7. Twins home plate seats look wide and comfortable, unlike Am Fam where everyone looks uncomfortably mashed together like sardines, obscuring and enveloping Front Row Amy in their folds of flesh.
  8. https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2023/05/08/milwaukee-brewers-return-to-old-policy-stop-alcohol-sales-after-7th/70195849007 "A team spokesman confirmed that the Brewers are reverting to the practice of beer sales through the seventh inning, undoing the change that was made to move that cutoff to the eighth inning at American Family Field. The maneuver aimed to address the potential loss of concession salesfrom a sped-up fan experience, with game times down considerably thanks to new on-field rules."
  9. I hear that starting today beer sales are extended through the 8th inning due to the quicker game pace.
  10. So yeah it's only Tuesdays but you're talking $5 for normal size things not the silly 414 teeny lil hot dog menu. ."The Chicago White Sox introduced three enhanced ticket offers and a first-of-its-kind $5 TUESDAY concessions menu, providing fans with additional savings throughout the 2023 season. New this season, Tuesday home games will feature a specially priced $5 concessions menu, featuring items like 16-ounce draft beers (Miller Lite and Modelo), Vienna Beef Hot Dogs and Polish Sausages, Beggars Pizza slices, nachos, select Coca-Cola products and Garrett Popcorn Stadium Buttery (excludes July 25 vs. Cubs). Offered at various concessions stands throughout the ballpark, fans can learn more at whitesox.com/Tuesdays." https://chicagocrusader.com/white-sox-announce-enhanced-ticket-offerings-and-concessions-value-deals/
  11. My usher buddy said I don't want to see the way they're cooked now. He also told me what he and his fellow ushers refer to the kitchen operations as but it was kind of offensive.
  12. Absolutely. It's not the cost itself but the cost to quality gap is astonishing. I just remembered at the last game I was at last season I had the "Johnsonville Ultimate Bratwurst." For what it cost it was laughably bad. I'll pay whatever for a beer because I like drinking beer but I usually don't get food unless it's a SSH discount day and I̶ ̶u̶s̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶c̶r̶e̶e̶n̶s̶h̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶'̶s̶ ̶S̶S̶H̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶d̶ go with my SSH friend who gets the 25% discount. That tends to soften the blow.
  13. Not sure who these people are that are giving the quality high marks but the quality is generally abysmal https://www.cbs58.com/news/cheaper-concessions-new-experiences-and-rule-changes-the-brewers-plan-to-get-attendance-back-to-pre-pandemic-levels "People said that they liked the concession offerings, they like the quality, they like the speed of the lines but they thought some of the prices were too high," Schlesinger. "So, we did a conscious effort in the offseason to offer value meals and reduce some concession prices."
  14. underwhelming https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/mlb/brewers/2023/03/27/american-family-field-food-concessions-change-for-2023-brewers-season/70053978007/ Visit our comprehensive guide to AmFam:
  15. As far as basketball games go my buddy's an usher at Fiserv. He said for Bucks games they tried to do a stop in play thing like hockey where you couldn’t walk to your seat during game action and it lasted the first half of the first game before it was abandoned. Most ushers weren't assertive enough to enforce it which resulted in the ones who were stopping. He also said they tried it and it worked for most of the Marquette games that season because their fans actually watch the game and don't move around as much.
  16. Got an email offering $9 terrace seats for Opening Day. Has the home opener novelty dropped off a cliff?
  17. It was kind of addressed here
  18. Thanks for the recommendation. I watched the first 3 episodes yesterday. Very entertaining.
  19. The sheer stupidity (& selfishness) of the parents literally boggled my mind numerous times & just when you think they couldn't possibly be any dumber they go & do something even more idiotic. (spoiler alert)
