    I wouldn't call a broker. I'd buy tickets on the day of the game from a scalper. The prices will still be pretty high but they'll be cheaper than the current broker prices.

    I enjoyed reading your report Zachlaka. I don't want to sound like I begrudge anyone for camping out. Like you said, it was more than just the tickets. And lord knows I've stood in line for hours for things that other people wouldn't stand in line two minutes for.

    OK, just wondering. I don't watch the show but I remember people being all excited becaust they were finally going to show the airplane on the conveyor belt episode. And then I never found out how it turned out.

    Believe me, MacKaye's not paying his bills by playing six dollar concerts. There's a difference between being in a band that drives around in a van and besides playing doing their own load in and load out and trying to fit all this in around an actual job and being Ian MacKaye, who owns a record label and has albums that have sold several hundred thousand copies. Whether or not he busted his hump getting there or started out from nothing or whatever is irrelevant. Somebody can't just decide to tour the country playing six dollar shows without wondering if they're going to have enough money for their next meal much less if they're going to make a middle class living doing it.

They won't charge more than five bucks for their concerts. Five bucks! You know there's gotta be at least one guy in the band who ain't happy about this.     It uses faulty logic and extraneous wording in order to fool the reader into thinking there's a missing dollar. In the end, the desk clerk has his $25, the bell boy has $2, and each guy got $1 back which equals $30.

    It's just way too much time to spend for such a small pay off. I shudder to think how far in advance some people would set up camp if there were World Series tickets involved.

    Also if you go down there today only at the box office they've got half off on all tickets (excluding Bernie's T) for the Reds series April 8-10.
