  1. Nieuwenhuis has played very well in center field so far.
  2. What is going on with Jungmann? Hard to believe he could be THIS bad.
  3. On a completely unrelated note: why do the player photos look like mug shots? If I was an agent: SMILE.
  4. Lower back stiffness not rest night I read. So stiff that he couldn't take one AB with the bases loaded in a situation where he won't even have to run the bases? I think that may be quite telling.
  5. 4 outs on the basepaths tonight - someone might want to recheck the scouting report. Let's go JJ!
  6. Jungmann is not getting any better in Colorado Springs.
  7. Why have Villar sacrifice in front of Braun with one out? Why not have Presley do it (if you're going to sacrifice)? Of course, as I type that Lucroy comes through.
  8. My God, Anderson has been bad lately. They better get the shuttle between Milwaukee and Colorado Springs warmed up; the bullpen's arms are going to fall off.
  9. I know it was intentional, but Scooter now has exactly half the walks he had all of last year. That is remarkable.
  10. I'd like to see Haudricourt ask Gennett if he's actually changed his approach. Granted, it's very small sample, but he's increased his walk rate about 4 times what would be expected.
  11. I'm not sure I recognize this team with all of the walks they've received this year. It's a welcome change.
  12. You didn't see Chris Carpenter's son leave early, did you?
  13. He turned around a 98 MPH to center. This kid looks good.
  14. Bullpen is spectacular so far. Pitch counts are very low.
  15. It sure looks like Thornburg has healed. 95-96 mph.
  16. It's just hard to fathom how/why they keep running Lohse out there. There hasn't been a glimmer of hope in quite some time.
  17. 31 pitch first inning, followed by a 7 pitch second inning. Thanks, Dbacks!
  18. Lohse just looks done. The last year of that contract is horrific - who would have thought?
