  1. More outs on the bases. I guess I'm only surprised because we didn't try to squeeze with Ramirez.
  2. Great picture of Cameron.
  3. Pierziohjkm, NeckTat, and Matheny. That's a KLASSY trio right there. If only they had a pitcher to go with them...
  4. And Taylor with a hit as well. Really looking forward to both of them at AA next year.
  5. This game should really seal RRR's fate. I haven't been on the firing bandwagon, but that inning was the last straw. Bunting to set up a .180 hitter, with a .230 hitter in the hole is just pathetic.
  6. That is absolutely horrible managing AND execution. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
  7. Now we're bunting to bring up our clutch .180 hitter. Ridiculous.
  8. September 4. Season in the balance. And we've got a .198 hitter up because we don't have an extra outfielder on the bench.
  9. Is there anyway to tell who leads MLB in ground outs to SS?
  10. Not sure if GameDay is accurate, but it looks like Ramirez just swung at two pitches in the other batter's box.
  11. Good AB by Schafer. It would be nice if the bottom third could contribute something offensively.
  12. Well, this starting out in a promising fashion.
  13. I think the attendance for the rest of the season will be interesting to watch. If it tanks, I don't think it bolds well for either DM or RRR.
  14. Couple of grand slammers and we're right back in this game.
  15. I'd like to see Wang. But I guess Gorzelanny fills that role these days.
  16. The Yost firing was unprecedented IIRC. I think by the time MA/DM would possibly make a change, it would be too late. And I think that if that change was made, DM would be headed for the door. The recent extension makes it very unlikely in my opinion.
  17. I wasn't suggesting or advocating a firing. But I do think the team has looked lackluster since the Dodger series. And I still am perplexed with RRR's bullpen management and insistence on "aggressive" baserunning. I get that the bullpen hasn't performed well lately, but I still think the overuse early in the season is catching up with them.
  18. It's hard to remember, but did the team look this bad right before Yost got fired?
  19. Down 3 runs. One out. One of the better hitters up at the plate. Your run at first base means little. You have 11 SB with 5 CS on the season while battling nagging injuries all year. Great time to steal OR hit and run. But, hey, we're aggressive - right RRR?
  20. Hate to overreact, but it's time for Jean to grab pine. The weak grounder to short is routine at this point. It's time for Herrera.
