    Well, Yelich did drop a ball to him in SF off of Adames’ bat in the 8th inning that realistically guaranteed us a loss. Maybe his back is stiffening up? Hard to say, for sure, obviously.

    We can at times, sure ... but to expect it season after season when you don't have the star veterans because they've moved on to big market big spending teams is not fair or wise for these young fellas! Root, root for these boys ... but remember, they are boys compared to the big market big spending rosters! We can overcome it to some extent each season, and it makes it especially sweet when we can win a division and squeak by the Cubs and Cards, but the Big Leagues are still the Rig Leagues, and we are playing on a tilted field, no question.

    The plight of small market baseball in the Rig Leagues ... depending on young guys to play like salty vets in big TV markets like NY, CHI, LA, HOU, ATL, STL, PHI, SF, SD, etc. The Brewers have overcome the rigged status of MLB to a large degree winning division championships 3 of the last 4 seasons, BUT it surely is an overwhelming task to keep up that level of winning given the large inequities in payroll across the league solely because of market size. Go slay Goliath again, Brewers!
