  2. Turnbow with bases empty = good Turnbow? Turnbow with inherited runners = bad Turnbow?

  5. We are the world, we are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day
  6. This is worse then when Gozer the Destructor locked down the public library... there was so much negativity permeating that everybody was at each other's throats. we need some statue of liberty action with the nintendo advantage hooked up in there. this SUUCKS SOOOOO BAD, see... it's got a hold of me too. cue: "we are the world, we are the children..."
  7. I am watching on mlb.tv and the just showed Ian Kinsler's wife...SMOKIN! Eh. Must be a high school sweetheart or something... solid 7. Hardly smokin.
  8. Loch Ness Monster White Whale 4 leaf clover Johnny Estrada Walk!
  9. back in the game when Prince hit his 19th and Francis saved his 19th, I pondered who would get to 60 first. It really seems like even money to me. #52 is going to be huge. for a lot of reasons.
  10. bunk ruling on Braun... Lofton would have gotten third with or without the errant throw
  11. Too much of Coco? to get 4 outs instead of 3? Geez... sometimes it is more about getting Cordero's arm hot and then having him sit for 15 minutes... then get another 3 outs. i'd be comfortable giving Francis 6 outs if he could have em all in a row without a rest.
  12. Ned with that blank stare on his face post Turnbow BB looks like Will Ferrell looking like George Bush. whaaaaaaaaa?
  13. If Villenueva finishes this game is a save credited since he started with 3 run lead?
  14. Yikes, Hart has some cojones, huh? Not necessarily too smart there. If you are Craig Counsell perhaps... Hart leading off just feels so good. And this whole Hart, Hardy, Braun, Fielder thing is OK too.
  15. Weeks to the DL... addition by subtraction? Vargas dealing... #5 stuff? Now I've seen everything!
  16. S a very big one. collect your paycheck with pride Francis. Cubs, Astros, Cardinal "lose"... Pirates "win". good for Benny, too.
  17. we are supposed to be playing rickie for his offense and JJ for his defense, right?
  18. I'm glad to see our lovable Brewers, all cute and small market-like, embraced and highlighted by all forms of national media with curiosity romantically piqued, have their pants absolutely pulled down on this "16 game road trip". 4 wins? Are you kidding me? I am willing to sweep this month under the rug. I am. Or at least I am lying to myself to try to convince myself it is OK. I am too young and too innocent to listen to my elders claim with disdain that the Brewers' annual collapse is genuinely predictable and ultimately inevitable. Kudos to Doug M for convincing Mark A that the correct thing to do was to call up Braun in May... that must not have been a comfortable conversation. That said... Vargas in the rotation disgusts me. He looks like my opponent when I am drunk and in the batting cages in Sluggers near Wrigley... how incompetent! Sorry, I'd really like to continue... but my commitment to all things Brewers has got to end today on this Superlatively Glorious day for my own sanity. Long flight home for these guys. Cheers.
  19. Yes Yes. I am very excited that Not-Braun will be on the bench today, and Not-Not-Braun will be at third. Wait, I think that means Braun is playing third tonight!? Does Yost need a tissue after writing out: Gwynn, Weeks, Hardy, Fielder, Hall, Jenkins, Braun, Estrada ? I do.
  20. Big step for Ned today... someone should hand him a diploma. Masters in Thinking Outside the Bullpen Box
  21. If that wasn't an "ace-like" performance by Sheets today, I don't know what is. well you see... he was healthy today... and he had his curveball working today... and he had his weight under control today... and he probably had a chip on his shoulder today... and... and, and...
  22. so yeah um... i'm, uh, going to watch Lost for an hour... and when i check back in again i would rather not be being no-hit. thank you and good-night.
  23. for some reason Tony G seems way less offensive to me manning 2nd, rather than 3rd. and by offensive i mean repulsive. i mean... i am more comfortable with Tony at 2nd that at 3rd i think you get what i mean?
