Use a lefty! Like Granderson! Otherwise, he's gonna have to hit against one later. I don't understand Santana here. And I really don't understand Schoop in the 2nd now.

Exactly. What a waste. I don't know what it is. I know Kratz is a great story and all, but Pina is just better from everything I've seen. Especially in the post-season, where he's had, what, a few starts? I don't get it either unless the pitchers are literally lining up to say that Kratz is the only one that can call a good game (and I don't think that's happening.)

This inning has the feel of the Dodgers capitalizing after the Brewers missed a huge opportunity. A leadoff walk is not helpful. A double play would be. Or a strikeout.

I think he's probably thinking there will be other bigger spots later in the game when he'd rather use Santana, Granderson etc..so he doesn't want to burn one of them this early and not have them available later in the game. Yeah, but that's a HUGE spot right there. You can't guarantee there will be another big spot down the line. Maybe there is and Grandy is a hero and everyone goes home happy, but I think you have to play that inning like it's the 9th.

I'm shocked he made contact. I would have preferred quite a few pitchers in that spot. Not even joking. He has zero confidence and I have zero faith.

Need a big hit. I would go Granderson since I feel like they're gonna go with lefties later, but I guess you, unfortunately, have to actually use Schoop in this game. Please do something. Finally do something good!

I really don't want the Crew to be down in the mid-to-late innings and have to face Kershaw, even if it is on limited rest. I think they need to grab a lead with Buehler on the mound to give themselves a good chance. At least tie it.

Not sure I like Hader this early, but on the other hand, you really don't want the game to get away from you. If Chacin is able to pitch until his AB without giving up another run, I would much rather wait on Hader.

It feels like he does this a lot. He's a premier, gold glove defender, but it seems like he just launches the ball whenever he gets to it.
