  1. Ugh. I know 3-1 isn't some insurmountable lead, but it just feels like it is. Even 2-1 felt difficult, but I thought perhaps someone could just hit one out. I'm certainly not giving up. And I know this team isn't either. Whether or not that means positive results.....
  2. I think he will be, if not just because our bullpen arms in Woodruff, Burnes, and Peralta will all be pushing hard for a starting spot. I don't see Guerra beating them out, and I think he's a great fit where he is.
  3. Great job by Woody. He kind of hung the last one, but it was still a weak grounder through the hole. He did everything you could have asked for. This is on the offense.
  4. The Bucks are shooting 100%. Why can't the Brewers hit 100% of the time!?
  5. Yeah, he's looking a bit tired now. And friggin' Muncy pokes one through. Of course.
  6. This really has a similar feeling of last night's game where the offense needed to do something, but just couldn't. Hopefully this time it's different. Let's go, guys!
  7. Kershaw looks like he could very well go eight innings. He's on, and the Brewers are swinging at the pitches he needs them to swing at. I'm not liking this.
  8. Kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't. Personally, I wanted Kershaw out of the game, but I understand the thinking both ways.
  9. Wow. You walk Barnes and I think they have to go PH. Now they can keep Kershaw in.
  10. It really looked like Kershaw might not get through five. Now I'd be surprised if he didn't get 7-8. And there's that inside pitch I was talking about. Again, they can't lay off it. Usually, it's a strikeout. Flyball this time.
  11. That pitch at the knees about six inches off the plate on the inside has killed the Crew in this series. Lots of strikeouts that way.
  12. Yep. I'm really curious how the starters/pen situation will turn out. Woodruff, Burnes, and Freddy all deserve a shot, in my opinion.
  13. So, is that all for Woodruff? I would love to see a couple more innings out of him, but I have no idea how stretched out he is. He doesn't look tired to me.
  14. I mean, it's Kratz and his slow as heck, but he should have beaten that one out. Just run hard. You never know what can happen. Edit: Or was he running hard and that's just his full speed? I admit, I only saw the slow-mo, so it's hard to judge on that.
  15. If it starts below the knees, it isn't coming up. Big time wasted opportunity, but it's a lead, I suppose. Great job by the bottom of the order, again. And Cain.
