  2. This is Cool. A Players Weekend where they get to have a nickname on the jerseys. http://m.brewers.mlb.com/news/article/247192148/brewers-to-celebrate-players-weekend/
  3. The voters? I would think they picked out the Voters by one per each team within the league that they cover so that they can make it equil as much as possable. So with that said I would think the Brewers guy might vote for him but I have tuff time believing any other one would vote for him.
  4. I can believe he has been there all those years for I have not messed a game sense 1992 and I am sure he and I are not the only ones that are there doing just that. But that's the only thing I believe the rest is bull. Stuff that sounds good in the newspapper. If you show up on a 90 plus day and seat in the sun for 4 to 5 hours your going to get heat stroke unless you have a cold bottle of water to drink. Simply you can't drink enough to stay safe without having to go to the bathroom a few times. But sure he can get around that problem by waring a man's dipper. They don't put that in the newspapper but that is possable but still the heat can get to you and make you a little tired. You close yours for a few secounds you can mess a pitch. If you are felling tired it happens and there is nothing you can do about it. You tell be that hasn't happen to this guy not even once in 35 years. If that is true this guy is not human. I admit it I've messed allot of pitches doozing off. I don't try to see every pitch for It's not possable. Well, You could try and pull it off for a game or two but game after game no way, You go to enough games there are going to be those games where your body will be there but your brain will deside to stay home.
  5. I know he was Suspended for 50 games but the 50 games should be will up by now and I can't help noticing he has yet to play this season. Anyone know what's going on there.
  6. 1. This team looks like it'll be pretty bad. Take the under on 70 wins. That is very much a unknown. The team that finishes the season will be better then the team that starts it but how long it takes to come around will deside if that is the truth or a Overreaction. 2. Perez was a one year wonder who hit his ceiling last year. You can argue he is what he is and he is young enough to remain that for a few more years. 3. Broxton's 2nd half 2016 was a fluke, we wont see that player again. He wasn't good long enough to call it a fluke to begain with. He still very much unproven. So who knows what you'll get. 4. Aguilar should get as many ABs as Thames this year. Yes 5. Peralta, Nelson, and Anderson will all be better than Davies this year. I don't got a clue. Maybe , Maybe Not 6. This team will break the all time MLB strikeout record of 1543 - set by the 2016 Brewers. Most likely not but you can never know. 7. Villar will never play passably well anywhere in the IF. Overreaction
  7. You guys ever here of Construction Workers? They don't come cheap. What about a fork left? They cost money to rent. there are costs in there that go beyound what you see and I'm guessing you went to the game you might of standed in line at one or two concourse stands but you took your seats and watched the game without the thought of walking the ballpark to see what was done. I did so and if they say it was $20 million. I believe it. There enough there for it to be believable.
  8. Not totally unexpected. It is just the first few games still running the new concessions stands and with all the new places of sale there has to be allot of new people working there first games and you know how it is they come in thinking better do it the way I'm told. You can trust the deeper into the season they get they will start sloping it out more.
  9. I say those trying to save a buck are going to pay more but overall the pricing is better then you fair it would be.
  10. I had to email my rep on tuesday becouse they didn't come and she said they where not printed up. But she took cure of it and I got them Today but if you haven't got them yet you do need to call your rep.
  11. Cool, He was a pretty big prospect back in the dawn of the internet.
  12. Totally agree. How can they tell if the catcher didn't throw because he didn't cure if the runner took the base or if he didn't throw because he thought he couldn't throw him out.
  13. A brewers fan goes to the game with a Billy Goat and tries to get thrown out.
  14. And that's the problem. They can charge you anything they want and you will pay it for it's only two time maybe three and they can get away with it for the crowd is people mostly like you coming 2 times and less of the people that come 40 plus times. It would be alright if they rised concessions prices and made the season ticket discount day to be every games and give them a bigger discount. Where they make there profit on the fans that only comes a few times and giving a break to the fans that are there all the time.
  15. I'd say there was one game that the brewers got screwed on Reply calls but overall they haven't been although a few have been against them that shouldn't had but they gotten a few too. Although on another topic of speeding up the games the way they are doing the reply system it's not working. there was a game Villar lead off with a walk and before the pitcher throw to the 2nd batter he throw over to 1st base to pick him off and the Ump calls him out. They review the play and it showed he has safe. Game started up again and the pitcher throws to 1st base again and Vallar was called out again. He clearly was out after another review but the thing is the way they are doing reviews it took 10 Minutes to make that out. It makes no sense to let teams have 2 minutes where the fans look at the dugout to review it themselfs to deside if they want it reviewed so that the fans can send the next 2 minutes looking at the umps. I'm of the Option that they should take it out of the hands of the Manager and have the players on the field ask for the review for they are there in the play and in most cases they know if they are safe or out for they don't need that 2 minutes when everyone knows they are going to review it.
  16. Rob Deer Candy Maldonado Eric Plunk Bob Skuke Chucky Carr
  17. This is unthinkable or pure dumb luck. I have never heard of a single team signing this many players out of a single draft ever. It is one for the record books if they keep a record for it.
  18. Fun but flowed. Jake Odorizzi was drafted with a bonus pick got through losing a free agent. Making it a pick we would not had if there was no free agency and you can't say if we would of took him with the next pick we have or if someone else would of took him before then.
  19. Yeah, That likely is the oldest pick off move in the book and it would never work for the base runner would know better.
  20. 1 ) Matt Garza - Agree or disagree it don't mather. They always choice experience over youth for the top spot and Garza is the only starter the brewers have with any real experience. 2 ) Wily Peralta - He has had more success in the majors then any of the other choices and he is closest to what should be his prime season. 3 ) Jimmy Nelson -He's a guy that hasn't had much success yet but could have a breakout season and it's a good spot for him. 4 ) Chase Anderson - He's nothing exciting but they clearly got him to start 5 ) Zach Davies or Taylor Jungmann - I'm sure they will let them battle it out for the spot. Plus don't rule out the old guy out could be the long man in the bullpen.
  21. 3 Times in a year, How is that possable? Don't you get suspended for 50 games for the 1st and 100 games for the 2nd and isn't that basicly a season. Shouldn't they stop taking them when they are suspended for you don't need the advantage then?
  22. When all things are equil a pitcher with a history of injuries can not command as much money as a pitcher that has never been injured. An idea like this would help pitchers stay heathty and if it works in the end it would cost the teams more money
  23. I sure hope not for that is just a clueless direction to be taking the team. Yes, We are in a pitcher's era and what needs to be understand is we have the pitching to be one of the best teams in the league but everyone else does too for pitching is just that deep and for a team like the Brewers they will never field another winning team trying up one on everyone on Pitching and Defense for the depth is just that good that there is little to no room there to gain an advantage. The fact is We are in a pitcher's era and the deference between who wins and who loses is simply who scores for if you don't score you don't win and if you settle for a player hitting .225 because he plays good defense that not going to get anywhere. Kansas City Royals win the World Series, Edinson Volquez (13-9 3.55) was there best starter. They had a good bullpen like everyone else but overall there pitching wasn't anything all that great but they win because they hitters that can hit.
