Soria threw 6 pitches. might have been an idea to use Soria another inning there. By not using him though, he is available tomorrow if needed. I am guessing they don't want to make anyone unavailable tomorrow.

It is 1-1 late in the game, who knows what tomorrow will look like. Could be us losing 5-0 with a nice bullpen saved up for nothing. With our pen we won't get much better odds to win a game.

All I am saying is the team that wants to risk more to win today might just win. We will see how Counsell attacks things.

I think we lose this game because Counsell will be too scared to use good relievers in a tie or close deficit game...just my thoughts.

The Cubs are getting pretty close to a date with out pen. If Chacin get through 5 or 6 scoreless the pen could easily make it a one run game.
