  1. The Brewers now CONTROL THEIR OWN DESTINY! Now or never for the Brewers, time to get it if you want it.
  2. Nice one pitch AB MVP!
  3. Well the Cardinals de sure going to earn their outs the hard way in the 9th. Heart of the order.
  4. Well when you win zero friggen games...
  5. THREE OUTS TO GO!
  6. Come Cards...SIX OUTS!!
  7. Two people who don’t vote, don’t care. Good for them.
  8. Regarding the articles talking about MVP Khris Davis: The ones I read weren’t really calling for him to win the award. They were trying to give notice to the role he has provided for them. He has been clutch for them and just flat out produced. Wish we had that kind of power in our line-up.
  9. Yelich has arguably had a better season than Braun did in 2011. Considering where Yelich was standing at the end of July that is almost impossible to even think about.
  10. Yelich nearly got his OPS up to 1.000 this year, incredible. Absolutely mindblowingly unbelievable.
  11. I don’t see it as a must win. Sure they would have to win out and the Cubs lose out...but we only need to that to happen over 2 days. Not really that hard to happen. I don’t foresee it happening just because the Cardinals are toast and are probably mentally checked out too now. I think we need a sweep and maybe the Cubs lose one. Then again who knows. The Cubs losing two days in a row has happened many times all season.
  12. Ahh right, it was the other 3B we were playing at the same time. Shaw was playing 3B over by first at the time and watched it fly away into RF.
  13. In fairness, the Cards basically had a constant rally against us for 3 games and never cashed in We literally clinched by a guy faceplanting going around 3rd after Shaw threw one 100 feet wide.
  14. No, very unlikely. Possible relief option I am guessing if they were really motivated. No way they start him on two days rest and no way they skip him tomorrow.
  15. The Cardinals are a crashing team. I will stay with the assumption we are lucky if they win a single game in that series. We need a sweep.
  16. I would have to disagree here. I guess the guys on the network might think differently, but they had a graphic listing the Top 3 according to MLB.com writers weekly and not once was Baez #1. Before Yelich's push the general consensus was all Baez. I do think Yelich is going to win it now though. He is the talk on the street even with us on pace to not win the division. Can't imagine anything can happen in three days to change that.
  17. Just some info on the Tigers: 64-95 26-52 (Road) 21-50 (>.500) 3-7 (Last 10) 2 game losing streak Terrible Offense Miserable Pitching Certainly could sweep them...they suck.
  18. Does it hurt us though? Are the Cubs honestly any scarier in a one game playoff than anyone else? Not really. We are basically gunning to play them in a “WC” game and if we lose it so like double elimination. I see it a solid a shot to get an extra days rest. I’d rather have just won the division, but is what it is. I don’t think we have any chance to win the division anyway. I think the Cubs go 2-1 vs. the limping Cardinals and we at best match them 2-1 against the Tigers.
  19. Yah I doubt they hold him back because that would leave him resting a long time between starts. He last pitched on the 24th and the WC game is on the 2nd. I am guessing with such a good rotation that would likely just toss whoever is slated for that day on normal rest and Kershaw would likely be available in relief if they really wanted to.
  20. We embarrass ourselves every other time of the year, why not now? We will just go ahead and roll these out with the assumption we play in the WC game...or you can assume we don't, whatever you would like to do. 2018 Brewers POST Season Predictions Win-Loss Record: 6-6 1-0 WC 3-2 NLDS 2-4 NLCS Highest Playoff Level Achieved: NLCS Offensive MVP: Lorenzo Cain Pitching MVP: Josh Hader Most Surprising Player: Corbin Burnes Most Disappointing Player: Jhoulys Chacin Our bullpen will serve us well in the postseason, but our dependence on them will wear thin after awhile leading to blown games after the starters can't go deep. Due to that dependence a guy like Corbin Burnes will have to step up to even get us to the NLCS. Unfortunately Jhoulys Chacin will struggle multiple times with short outings to finally do us in come NLCS time (this years Shaun Marcum)
  21. Pretty crazy to think about how much we can improve this team and it is on pace to win 94 games...I mean wow. I think the nice thing is a lot of these guys are playing realistically or even worse than you would expect. Important thing is to improve somewhere on offense, make sure the bullpen doesn't fade away, and hopefully snag a flashy starter. There is a lot less fluke in this team versus last year.
  22. Who cares about the stadium situation, it is irrelevant because we will only be there for 2 years. Whether a new one is planned or not it is meaningless until we sign another contract to even be there still.
  23. I have two personal favorite moments. #1 Brent Suter Homer #2 Jonathan Scoop Grand Slam on September 9th. I have gone too many games over the years in this rebuild where we faced good pitchers and got flattened (Cueto 5,000 times). We finally put a good team that could get to ace pitchers...and I loved every second. Yesterday was a great moment too. To be able to clinch the first shot we had, a sweep, on the road, against another team dying to win, and against the Cardinals. It was hard fought and they pulled it out.
