  1. Near Homer and then walking Ortiz easily? yah, you gotta capitalize .
  2. LOL off speed on a 3-2 pitch. Just intentionally walk him and balk three times.🤣
  3. You asked who is available, not who should pitch. You are talking a lot of hypothetical potential downsides. None of which are worse than being down 2-0 to the Dodgers.
  4. I don’t see any reason to believe anyone is not available. Maybe Uribe, but mostly because he was garbage last night to go with his 24 pitches.
  5. Went all in trying to win tonight (probably the right call) and it doesn’t appear it is going to work. Imagine having a fair chance in this sport.
  6. Murphy set it up so those lefties weren’t group together when they went to their bullpen. Sound logic if it is some pitcher that goes 5-6 MAX
  7. Our offense just doesn’t have any elite hitters to be facing phenom aces when they are even remotely on. Sure they scored a bunch and were pesky all season…but that involves a lot of middling pitchers faced. You don’t string together hits and stolen bases facing Snell. Yelich and Contreras are good…but there is not a single person in our line-up to be even slightly scared of. So far, the difference is one of those types of hitters we don’t have.
  8. Boatloads of luck so far today. Notably, all of which not on offense.
  9. The problem is he was hundreds of feet away. He tagged up and left when Frelick jumped and originally had it in his glove. Once it popped out and he recaught it he returned to tag up again. That’s what he had to do if the ball had never hit the wall and he simply recaught his own unintentional juggle.
  10. Trying to steal on an elite lefty pitcher seems like a way to just do them favors.
  11. Going Ashby as an opener to basically intentionally walk Ohtani is a very, interesting choice.
  12. I honestly thought I was going to have to mute the TV in the NLDS.
  13. Don’t really have much confidence in this series. I think it’s pretty lopsided and Dodgers could definitely sweep us. But baseball is baseball. Dodgers have zero excuse losing tonight. It’s the kind of game that could really flip the script of this series if we can sneak out a win. We gotta get to their pen with us leading or at least down just a run or two. Our bullpen is probably the one upper hand we have. It won’t do any good if we are down 4+ come mid-late game.
  14. I think you hope Priester OR Quintana can give you 3 innings and then bullpen Game #1. Leaving the other fresh for Game #3. Our best pitchers are the relief guys. They need to all pitch the first two games and then get rest on the travel day. We cannot play this straight up with the starters. Ours aren’t that good and we won’t win the series. Murphy is going to have to pull the right strings and be bold to win it. I think we also need someone on the roster to be a literal waste of space and take one to the chest. The Dodgers are good and one of these games they are probably going to obliterate our pitching early and someone will just have to take one for the team to save pitching. But the end of the day if we gotta burn Quintana and Priester in the first two games and have neither for Game #3 you gotta do it. We can’t afford to go to LA down two games…so if we gotta empty the pitching to find a way to win one of the first two…gotta do it. Gotta win one at home, gotta win one LA, and just find a way to get the series back to Milwaukee.
  15. No report of him throwing = No Chance of NLCS NLCS was basically ruled out from the start and Woodruff talked liked his season was probably over.
  16. I wouldn’t think it is even possible. Before the NLDS they pretty much said the NLCS was unrealistic because he wasn’t likely to throw at all by then. NLDS is over and I don’t recall any report of him throwing. The realistic dream is in relief in the World Series.
  17. Never happened to show Counsell. Did he go hide in the potty room out of view for the last out?
  18. The Brewers are undefeated at home in the postseason. They just need to continue that trend and they will be World Series Champions.
  19. Okay, so 5 runs should be good enough here and then we can relax for three outs.
