    I choose to think that HR parks favor teams with less power. Guys with warning track power getting HRs. Just get it in the air. Kinda like how Scooter went off when he played for Cincinnati. Now, it’s just my thought and I’ve never attempted to apply any statistical analysis to it.

    Gregtember is right around the corner. Can’t count any chickens yet but the Brew Crew is in a great spot.

    I disagree about Prince not being a defensive liability. Any throw across the infield that wasn’t right to his glove was a big problem. Even a one hopper right on target he often couldn’t come up with. He used his belly to field bouncers hit at him. Which actually was a decent approach for him. I mean his bat and everything else he brought to the table more than made up for his glovework but I don’t think he was much less of a butcher than Juan Francisco at 1b.

    Dodgers suck baseballs. They didn’t do enough at the deadline. 1 run per game is never going to work in October. Dave Roberts is a moron. What in the hell was he thinking pinch hitting for muncy. Their lack of situational hitting and power is fine in August but they should have added a bat if they wanted to be more than a one and done come October.

    My main thing today is I don’t want miz to show them anything. In a perfect world he goes once through the order throwing fb then calls it a day.

    Well put adambr2, There’s the earthquake and there’s untold what else that can pull a guy off his game. From what I’ve seen from wild bill over his tenure with the Brewers, I consider him to be pretty tough, physically and mentally. So I think he’s likely got something going on. Might be a good time to give Gary more play.

    Now, how would that package compare to, say, Rob Bryson, Zach Jackson, Matt LaPorta and Michael Brantley I wonder. Oh well good for LA maybe if they can get a couple more players they can feel like they have a shot at winning enough games

    There have been years where the Brewers have allegedly been in on some of the headliner guys who were traded at the deadline. And the farm system has assuredly got other GMs eyes all over it. Perhaps soon our offer will be the one that wins. I’m not predicting or even advocating a big trade. I think you just never know.

    Once upon a time, when the Brewers were absolutely awful at getting anything across the plate in those 1st & 3rd nobody out situations, I thought there ought to be a special double play rbi rule just for the Brewers.

    The good news is that we don’t have to be better than them on paper, or be better at all. Just have to beat them in a postseason series.
