as much as I was fired up when we got greinke from kc I hated we had to give up cain.....jeffress amd most of all odorizzi....I had seen him pitch 3 times in Appleton and he dominated all ...including a 1 hitter.....I would love to get him back in a brewer uniform....is he an ace....no....but he has been solid for the last 3 yrs in one of the toughest divisions in baseball....
-
haha....the guy grew up playing middle infield...o..he would know how to avoid contact at 2B....wow.....and nowadays a runner really cant come in too hard
-
I have no doubt in my mind that he could play 2B.....he was a middle infielder in college and still thinks of himself as a SS....id give him some innings at 1B and 2B in spring training....what a line-up .....cain...yelich....braun ...shaw...Santana...thames...pina...arcia...pitcher.....
-
I agree.....take it or leave it and we go to our next team
-
it was noted earlier here or on brewcrew ball that stearns was putting a time limit on contract offers to fa so the agents couldn't spend days shopping the brewers offer to other teams for days....I would hope he tells the marlins the same thing....here it is...u want it take it or we will look elsewhere
-
it could be that hh is just blowing smoke up our butts....and is guessing like everyone else
-
Abreu from the chisox.....
-
hh said it was scary to see what the crew was giving up with the first offer....so now ur saying we add more to it....yelich is notttttttttttttt that good.....there are others that can be had for less that would be just as good at miller park.....
-
I would take altuve and votto over yelich ....anyday of the week
-
I would call it off.....they asked for our best offer....we gave it to them...they had 2 days to look for better offer now they want us to wait longer....the heck with it.....yelich is good.....but he is not Bryce harper or mike trout....heck he is not even in the class of gio Stanton.....or joey votto....or altuve........go after Abreu from the chisox....along with a pitcher for Broxton....dubon ...Ortiz and thames
-
I would much rather trade ray....Ortiz..dubon...diplan In fact all 4 can go along with sweet lew or Broxton....I just don't want monte.....erceg.....or burns going
-
for yelich....I would be ok with 4 of these 5....any way the marlins want them.... sweet Lew...Broxton..Ortiz....Dubon....Diplan....I would not include Monte....Erceg...I.Diaz...or Burnes
-
I would go sweet Lew...Broxton..Ortiz....Dubon....Diplan....I would not include Monte....Erceg...I.Diaz...or Burnes
-
rollie time....we agree with the 8 position players but I would exchange villar and phillips and Santana and braun in the order....time for braunie to drop a bit in the line-up
-
1....villar or sogard`2...Santana....3....shaw....4 Abreu...5 braun...6 phillips....7 pina.....8 arcia....9 pitcher
-
I would include ray or Brinson in any trade before I would get rid of monte Harrison.....he is going to be better then them both
-
I would trade corey ray.....keon Broxton and Ortiz and thames for abreu
-
after many years of looking for a third baseman we finally got one in shaw.....now why in the heck would we want to trade him right away .....he was our best player last year.....it doesn't make sense to trade him
-
what a great post....I love it and look forward to watching a few play their games in appleton
-
you are exactly right....I say the same thing about odorizzi......not pitching against the yanks...redsox and Toronto and he will have better numbers....send 6 or 7 prospects to the rays and get them both
-
earlier I put out a trade for archer and odorizzi......Brinson....Ortiz...dubon....diplan....Nottingham and clark/grisham......I think Harrison will be as good as if not better then Brinson....burns will be same if not better then Ortiz....diaz will take dubons spot....we have a few young catchers that I believe will be as good as Nottingham....and we have plenty of outfielders that can take the place or clark/grisham.....
-
I stated in another thread that if I was the gm.....I would give the rays Brinson or Broxton.....and Ortiz...dubon....diplan...grisham/clark...and Nottingham fro archer and odorizzi.....

does anyone know if josh uhen got hurt at the end of spring training?...when i was down in az this spring i asked a few coaches about him and they all had very good things to say about him...i cant find any link to him ....i would rather he be with the shuckers instead of snow or the skysox instead of kolchien...or how ever u spell his name -
i was wondering about josh uhen...
