I love how late tack on runs seem to suck the fight out of the opponent... at least when we are the ones tacking.

Hart barely looked like he swung on the HR; everything flies out of that place. How long before some Astro hits 75?

That's the second direct hit in the last couple of weeks. I'm not sure I ever saw that even once before.

    Nice game boys!
  5. hurricanecrush
    Ya, he's been pretty hot.

Nice win, it always feels more satisfying when I feel like the Brewers didn't "deserve" to win. Cards had a come from ahead loss. Astros are off tonight and the Cubs are trailing early. Go Padres!

    YES!!!!!

I don't mind it. It wasn't intentional, they were trying to get him to chase one. Now the DP is in order. There's out no. 2!

I'm going to the game tomorrow = Brewer loss Sorry to ruin your birthday.

Using that logic, Ned should have sat him down a month ago and he would have been so motivated that he would have put up decent numbers for the last month. I knew this was somehow Ned's fault.

This was such a satisfying win! It seemed like it was going to be a long game but Bush settled down and actually turned in a great outing. Hudson was really dealing but we got some nice hitting and ended up with 12 hits. Even with 12 hits, I still felt fortunate to put three runs across. The Brewers played a solid game and it feels good to win a game against that seemed unwinnable..

WE WIN!!! WE WIN!!! WE WIN!!!

I didn't recognize Jeff Bennett with the nicely curved brim.

After further review. it actually looks like we were unlucky.

    JJ is the man!

I actually LOL'd. My wife's looking at me like I'm nuts.

Did I read that right? Ben Sheets actually has a higher batting average than Bill Hall against righties?
  18. hurricanecrush
I think I've heard "and that's his first home run this year" three times in the last few days.

Nice to see us hitting the other way so far.

Dillon!!! Is that three straight PH appearances with an RBI single? That was an error? Did he get a glove on it?
  21. hurricanecrush
That Dillard kid is pretty efficient.

Heh, we're doing yard work today, I came in to get something to eat and flipped on the TV with Hart batting and we were down 6-0. The second pitch I saw, Hart jacked it for a two run homer. They're still batting and the score is now tied, unfortyunately, I'm going to have to get back outside soon.

This high camera angle reminds me of old school baseball video games (I haven't played baseball in years so I can't speak for the new ones). 2 LOB again. Ugh
  24. hurricanecrush
It apparently only works for the other team.

I knew I should have called Willy Mo's first HR after BA mentioned that he is still looking for his first one this year. BA, stop talking about how bad Dukes is hitting!
