  1. Miller legs one out. WE HAVE A RUN!!! And he gets picked off. Where exactly were you going?
  2. Think it's safe to go to bed? I have to get up at 5:00 tomorrow.
  3. How about Estrada, Graffy and Counsell going a combined 11-18?
  4. I'd settle for a solo shot this inning.
  5. Don't look now but Estrada, Graffy and Counsell, aka the three whipping boys, are a combined 9-16. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  6. To anybody watching the game, how close were the first three balls? Camecast had them all in the strikezone. Edit: Nevermind, Gamecast had him walking and now changed it to a strikeout.
  7. According to my calculations, Sheets has a 18 2/3 scoreless innings streak going. And over the last 10 games he has a 5-1 record with an ERA of 2.35 and a WHIP of 1.17 despite only having 46 K's over 61 1/3 innings. In his 4 non-decisions during that span, he had an ERA of 1.54 and a WHIP of 1.24. He could have easily had 2 or 3 more wins during that span with a little run support and/or help from the bullpen.
  8. Is this game more evidence that Sheets isn't an ace?
  9. I didn't want to jinx him so I waited until he was pulled but if I am looking at things correctly, Ben has thrown 18 consecutive shutout innings.
  10. I believe he's at 100. One more inning Ben.
  11. Thanks for the heads up, I would have missed it. I love high def!
  12. Why would Graffy try to get to third with two outs? It sure would have been nice to get through Suppan this inning rather than have him lead off next inning.
  13. Wow, I didn't expect that. Let's go JJ!
  14. I was hoping for Gwynn here to lay one down but Geoff comes through with a walk. Nice at bat!
  15. That inning for the Braves was Breweresque. It seems like every time the other team gets two on and nobody out, they are almost a lock to score. When we are in the same situation, we find a way to screw it up. Anyway, I think that inning was the turning point in the game and we will come back and pull this one out.
  16. A homer here by Hall wouldn't be meaningless.
