  1. Similar to the Pittsburgh game where umps refused to put tarp on field and pitcher struggling with pouring rain
  2. You said the season was over 90 minutes ago and now playoffs? LOL, he also said he was done, and it was Packer and Badger time. I asked if people would be able to watch a hypothetical wild card game because a regular season game with 2 people in the stands is almost unbearable . I don’t think they’re making the playoffs
  3. The Reds just don’t swing at anything outside of the zone. This entire series has been long AB’s by every player in the lineup.
  4. Again his move was inflated tonight because his GM thought having four number 5 starters in the rotation would suffice throughout the duration of a 162 game season. I don’t remember the last time he managed a game with a commanding lead from start to finish. The Joey Vottless reds have scored 16 runs in 16 innings vs what is supposed to be a playoff team.
  5. This team is infuriating to watch. Another starter who can’t go more than 5. Another game where Josh Hader has to save the day. Counsell is questionable but can NEVER have a comfortable lead. He has to continuously make pitching moves which are always under a microscope because his starters $h!t the bed night after night, lead after lead. Both starters lines this series have been embarrassing
  6. Along with Realmuto at C and Bour at 1B. Yet they were horrible. Pitching still wins championships. If the tragedy with Fernandez never happens, they’d probably be a playoff team right now.
  7. I don’t understand why or how he’s overrated. His team has improved each year. We were technically supposed to be in rebuild for quite a bit longer. All GMs have moves that dont pan out. All of them. But the one thing you can’t take away from Stearns is that this team is in a much better place today than when he took over and going forward. Much of the teams success last year was from players acquired or drafted by Doug Melvin. Hader Knebel Santana Arcia Jimmy Nelson. Yes, 3 of them have had awful seasons, but without them last year, the team is last place. Hader is the Brewers best pitcher this year. — I like Stearns ALOT he’s made some GREAT moves 1. yelich trade 2. Aguilar claim 3. Shaw for Thorn burg He’s also made many BAD moves as I’ve already listed above: 1. Khris Davis return 2. Villar over Gennett 3. Will Smith return His off-season was awesome. Yelich, Cain and Chacin. His deadline moves depleated the farm pretty badly and haven’t improved the team thus far. It IS probably too early to call him any sortve rating.. but he’s made just as many questionable decisions as he has made good ones. I’m just under the impression the average Brewers fan thinks he can do no wrong, when that isn’t the case.
  8. My error. I forgot Diaz was flipped for Yelich. He’s still an overrated GM
  9. I hate to say it, but as of now the deadline was completely botched. The offensive product from the 2nd base position has actually gotten WORSE since the deadline. Shaw has a .648 OPS while play 2nd base and Schoop .542. Obviously the defense has been much worse as well. Add in the fact all the talent we gave up for those trades and ignoring the rotation questions (ERA over 5.00 since the deadline BTW).... Puke. Yes. Strearns has done a good job overall but is completely overrated by most Brewer fans. Khris Davis for nothing, Will Smith for nothing, Villar over Gennett, the fail of a trade deadline this season. If Isan Diaz is a bust he lost the Segura trade too.
  10. Like clockwork. 11-3. Hopefully the Rockies, Phillies and Dodgers lose tonight. Might as well stop paying attention to the division teams as we’ll finish 5 + games behind both
  11. Here comes the phantom injury and DL stint to cover up the fact that the pitching staff isn’t good. 11-3 was giving them too much credit. Reds will have 7 after this inning.
  12. The offense will have one inning where they put up crooked numbers, but Guerra dug them in such a deep hole that the likes of Lyles, Albers, Williams will give up 7 + more runs. 11-3 final. Predictable script.
