    You're the one who imagining things in your head. You imagined me being someone else! You're the pot calling the kettle black! Lol. Dude, just stop. This hasn't gotten way out of hand. There's definitely a "click" here, of people who go absolutely bonkers if anyone has the GALL to disagree with them. Lol. It's blatantly obvious, with lots of proof to prove it. People like this "click" are bad fir this site. I already know of a few people who have left the site, because of them, and their narcissistic behavioral tendencies, for simply having a different opinion.

    Nothing wrong with trying to improve our odds, though. Is there? Especially when we have 1 of the best records in MLB, swept the season series with the team every picks to win it all, and when we have a deep farm system.

    Well, what's the point of not expecting more? We've been pretty damn good in the regular season for a long time now. Simply making the playoffs just to get ousted right shouldn't be good enough for any of us. There's nothing wrong with expecting them to try for more, now. At least once in a while. And, thinking i speak nothing but "hot air" is only your opinion. Which you are entitled to. There's already been a few here who have said they agree with me about that, and I'd bet serious $$ that there are more, who refrain from saying they agree, in fear of being lambasted/berated by the "click" on here, for saying it.

    Yes. Durbin has been steadily progressing this year. Well, good news for us, I don't think it will take a top 50 prospect to get him. We DEFINITELY need more power in our line-up though. Personally, I've been pretty let down by Chourios' progression this year. Seems to have hit a wall. Hasn't really shown that "IT" factor that he showed at times last year.

    He said Suarez would be much of an upgrade over Durbin, to make it worth it. 36 HR's proves he'd be a tremendous upgrade over him.

    I never said I'd give up 2. I said Pratt +. I said I wouldn't give up Made for him, but if they did(we all know it wouldn't take this to get Suarez), and it won us a Ship, it would be worth it to me.

    Even more reason to go for it. I think we still need help offensively. Especially with power. We need at least 1 power bat, if not 2.

    There's been plenty of people here who make it obvious that being competitive in the regular season is enough fir them to enjoy. Some have actually said that word for word.

    Like I've said, I don't think it will cost as much as most people think to get him, especially since he's a rental. I definitely wouldn't want to give a Made type prospect, but if they did, and it won us the Ship, wouldn't it be worth it? After all, imo, Made is having a down year. His power #'s definitely aren't progressing. Same with Pratt, and even his Avg is down a lot this year. We have lots of pitching depth, so I may even be willing to trade Hendo for him. Wouldn't like it, but I'd be ok with it, if we made a deep run or won a title because of it. There's always risks in trades. That's just the way it is. How do we know, though, if we don't try?

    As far as our top"ish" prospects go, if we absolutely HAD to, I'd give up Pratt +for him. Maybe even more I'd have to think about it more, to come up with a true package for him. Don't think it will take as much as people think, to get him. We need a power bat in a major way.

    I'm not trying to ruin anyone's parade. Just trying to get some "fans" here to stop settling for mediocrity, Being good in the regular season means the Crew are just pretenders. Very good pretenders, but pretenders nonetheless. If wanting the Crew to actually win a title makes me a "bad person", then so be it. If they don't care if we ever win a title, then what's the point of being a "fan" then?
