    How about you practice what you preach, and actually give some insight of what you think would be enough reasons for the Crew to actually go for it? Instead of of just hoarding prospects for the sake of doing it, in hopes that the planets align for them, just so. Oh, and then overpay for a back-up catcher hitting. 204. You're obviously the type that thinks others should give examples to you, but think you shouldn't have to do the same. Now THAT'S a child's mentality.

    Apparently a crap load. Lol We just overpaid for a back-up catcher that's hitting. 204. With how little the Spankees gave up for for McMahon, I don't think it will take as much as people think to get Suarez.

    If you check his stats, looks like his swing decisions must not be that bad. Decent to good averages, good OBP's, good #'s in 2B', triples, HR's. K/BB ratios aren't bad. I don't get it. So they overpay for a back-up catcher hitting a whopping .204? Really? 🤮

    Defending ones self isn't having mood swings. When people say I "act like a child" simply because I have a different opinion than them, i will defend myself every time, and twice in Sunday's. This whole fiasco was far from a 1 way street(me causing it), so stop acting like it was. Is that guy some vital cog for this site to continue operating or something? He gets free passes for berating people for having different opinions than him and the click? While others who defend themselves from the beratings, get talked to and/or blocked from commenting? How's that fair and impartial? It's not. People have left this site because of him, yet nothing ever happens to him. H.mmm.....? I wonder why that would be?

    No, but that also depends on what the other team would be looking for in return. If the team is looking fir pitchers in returns, then yes, he would be more valuable to that team.

    I'm well aware of the risk they take by not signing. Some just prefer to go to college, though. Some probably choose college, because they don’t like the team that drafted them.

    I think some that actually sign, also have it written into their contract, that their college education gets paid in full, if their baseball career doesn't pan out.

    We all would. I don't think it would even take a prospect of Hendos' caliber, to get him. Just meant even though i wouldn't like it, I'd be ok with it, if I got us a deep run or a Ship. I'd totally be fine with giving up Patrick. Possibly even Wilken.

    So would I. It won't take that to get him anyway. I'm just tired of getting bounced from the playoffs right away, every year. The year we're having, especially after the terrible start we had, I think this is a year to actually make some trades and try and make a deep run, or win it all.

    When it comes to trades, nothing is ever guaranteed. I know that. There's no way to know, though, unless we try. There's literally been more than one comment in this fiasco, when people made it clear, in no uncertain terms, that they're happy with just being good in the regular season. If that's how they truly feel, then so be it. But, man, that just seems like a ho-hum attitude to have.
