I agree with most of what you said. Imo, because of his swing & miss and K #'s, I have a strong feeling he'll be part of a trade during the off-season.

I understand your point. I know I'm the only one though, who's beyond tired of some people being "offended" by basically anything. Apparently people have forgotten "stick & stones can break our bones, but words will never hurt us." Nowadays, someone could fart the wrong tone, and someone will be offended by it. Imo, the level it's at nowadays, is ridiculous. In some instances, people that are offended by the littlest things, do that sort of as a manipulation tactic, like they expect people to walk on egg shells around them. Sorry, just how I feel.

Not sure why it's considered "attacking". It was sarcasm, which is a form of humor. Imo, if people are offended by "living in a fantasy land", then they probably need to grow thicker skin. I'd be offended, if someone was offended by that. Lol

I disagree. The point is, a truly good "cook" SHOULD be able to "masterpiece" with crap "ingredients". That's how "cooks" are judged as being good or not. The Brewers "cook" actually had some great "ingredients" at his disposal, and still couldn't make a "masterpiece".

Just to be clear: no union negotiating a new CBA is worrying about individuals that are not members. They are focused on those people that are members of the bargaining unit and those that have retired from the unit (in that order)... I have seen too many 2 tier wages setups where existing members get an hourly wage rate multiple dollars higher then a new worker doing the exact same job right to the existing member.. I was shafted out of my job of 20 years with a Fortune 100 company, and it's also a "union" shop. I have a Federal lawsuit filed against them and the so called "union" there. Believe me, unions aren't anything like they were years back. A large # of them are corrupt in some way, shape, and/or form, only care about $$$$, and couldn't care less about actual dues paying members. Unfortunately, I know this to be fact, from my own experiences, and things I've seen others get shafted by the union on. -
Stearns probably has a good opinion of O.J. Simpson if that is his point of view. Equating a fluke, accidental injury to oneself to double murder. What the heck is wrong with you? It's stunningly ironic how a bunch of you are labeling Williams as someone with anger issues all the while your very reactions suggest you have a severe inability to cope properly with a setback to your favorite sports team. Ugly stuff. I agree with you 100%. Preach away sir. The pathetic reality of America nowadays, is the majority of people are narcissistic hypocrites, full of double standards.

I agree that he was incredibly stupid for punching a wall. However, people/fans need to get their emotions in check, and realize professional athletes are still just mere human beings, the same as all of us are. And I'm willing to bet pretty much ALL of us have done incredibly stupid/infantile things before(maybe even several times) when we were drunk. So lambasting him for doing that is basically pure hypocrisy, and emotions doing the talking.

From what I've read, the Mets didn't offer a contract to Rocker because of medical concerns. If teams find medical issues with players they draft, they don't have to offer contracts to them. Rocker didn't participate in the pre-draft player MRI sessions. (Maybe because he and Boras knew he has an underlying medical issue/injury, and they were hoping teams didn't find out about it?) -

This is news to me. Small was an extremely talented multi-pitch lefty that consistently missed bats. Hiura was the consensus top college hitter available. He wasn't implying that Small & Hiura weren't talented players. He meant both were players who would sign for much less than their slot value. -

If Montgomery was such a great scouting director, and "drafted so well", then wouldn't that mean the Brewers farm system would be ranked much higher and more highly thought of than it is currently?

I actually prefer their frozens over the fresh. A great pizza! I prefer their fresh pizzas dining there, but yes, the frozen pizzas are excellent too. Have you ever dined in at their business, take out, or delivery? Or have you only had the frozen pizzas?

Park Plaza Pizza in downtown Beaver Dam. If anyone here gets up this way, I highly recommend trying it out. Their sauce is incredible. You won't regret it. It's SO good, that a few years ago they were going to close for personal reasons, until the citizens here started calling the Mayor demanding that they find a way to help them stay open. Even though many people may think it sounds disgusting(even I did at one time until I finally tried it) I suggest trying the Canadian bacon/sauerkraut combination with extra sauce. PHENOMENAL!

I'm pretty sure 82brewcrew82 just meant that Hader could be used to get a starting 3rd baseman included in the return. Of course Hader would bring back more than just 1 player. Lol
