  1. When they showed CC’s face after Cains Homer he smiled. Looked like his face was about to crack. Have some fun Craig.
  2. Absolute frozen rope to left. Hit the top of the fence then hit a fan in the hand.landed back on the field and initially ruled a double, crew challenged and won.
  3. The Brewer catchers are some of the best pitch framers I the game. They steal a lot of strikes.
  4. Cousins slider reminds me a little bit of Chad Fox’s slider from back in the day.
  5. They are asking a lot of Cousins here. The Curtiss injury is sometimes overlooked. He would have lengthened this pen even more.
  6. Like I said, they’re in a tough spot. Cc has a difficult decision to make but Topa just doesn’t seem to me to be the guy I’d trust in that spot. He’s had very little success outside of last season little run. I have more faith in Milner right now.
  7. I just don’t see what like about Topa so much. I realize they’re in a tough spot but he’s the last guy I’d go to in that situation.
  8. Most likely not, in the past September did not count toward the 45 day rookie status eligibility but that changed so September/October days will count. That really makes it almost ridiculous to think how little credit our prospect rankings would have gotten over time considering how well Ashby might be pitching by next year. It's all explainable, but still remarkable to be in a position to have 3+ All star level starters, and not have a system ranked above 20 in that time. Excellent point. I think it’s fair to say many of the folks who have graded the Brewers system over the past several years have underestimated their talent level.
  9. I hope so. It’s painful to watch him at the plate and his lack of plate discipline really stands out on this patient Brewers team. Sure is a far cry from the April lineups that featured JBJ, Shaw, Hiura and Arcia, along with an impatient Yelich and ice cold Garcia. Excellent point. It’s night and day.
  10. You have to wonder what the Brewers could have done with the JBJ money had the chose not to sign him. TT and maybe even Ray would have provided more for a fraction of the cost.
  11. He only made it about 1/4 of an Axford. Reds broadcast talked about how he emotionally struggled when injured the first time, now this. Really tough break for him, and for sure looked like throwing arm injury. Yeah, you gotta feel for the kid.
