  1. That, and when you're consistently good, you're consistently drafting at the end of the rounds. They haven't had a top-10 pick since 2009, and Raji was 9th overall. Yeah, that's frustrating too. Especially last season when our flawed, fraudulent 13-3 team has the 30th pick.
  2. Getting back to the Packers, something that few people realize is that despite being arguably the most consistent playoff team since 1993, they have only been a #1 seed twice.
  3. I agree that they have been disappointing and frustrating to watch, but I will agree to disagree that the eye test outweighs stats (which also indicate that they have been disappointing in relation to expectations, but it's certainly not a stretch to consider them at least average players still) You know what they say. Stats can say whatever you want them to say, aka stats lie.
  4. A good way to lose me is to post stats. The best indication to judge someone's performance is the the eye test, and Hiura and Yelich have been quite disappointing. Their only saving grace this year is they are hitting more dingers than anyone else on the team, but then again they're the only two guys playing nearly every day.
  5. This is so accurate. What do you think their record would be if both werent just average this year? Have to imagine that's at least 2 or 3 wins. Average is being kind.
  6. The Bucks are not winning a championship without Giannis. They just aren't. Ownership has to go all in next season and show him they're serious about keeping him here. Somehow I doubt that will happen. You have two Wall Street pennypinchers as owners that forced the taxpayers to build Fiserv. There are a million criticisms to be levied at the Bucks for all of the mistakes made since Giannis was picked (we will get there in due time), but the crux of the matter is this: in the summer that mattered for winning, ownership cheaped out.
  7. Well, I did say a huge step. I say that because last season they were an 8 or 9 win team that found a way to somehow win 13. They won't get that lucky this year.
  8. I honestly forgot the season started this week. I just can't get excited about sports anymore, and I expect the Packers to take a huge step backwards from their fluke 13-3 team of 2019.
  9. I'm no NBA expert but even I know it was a organizational mistake to let Brogdon go.
  10. I've never seen a Brewers team so full of guys I just don't care about until this year.
  11. It's funny, I watched the Ramones "I Wanna Be Sedated" on Youtube earlier today. If there ever was a song that describes the 2020 Brewers, it's that.
  12. Just think. Giannis and Rodgers will be gone soon and Yelich's contract will handcuff the Brewers for the next decade. What a time to be a Wisconsin sports fan.
  13. Well, it is the fourth inning. I expect it to happen next inning.
  14. I was just going to say, how are they going to find a way to screw this up?

  16. Apparently Joe West ejected Nats GM Mike Rizzo for not wearing his mask. Sitting in a second deck suite. By himself. There are plenty of bad umpires in MLB, and West is one of them, but only Joe West can claim to be a bad umpire to go along with being a total (insert expletive of your choice here).

  18. The Brewers offense gets help from the opposing defenses a fair bit.
  19. It's too bad Chris Farley is dead. Who else could play Vogelbach in his impending biopic?
