  1. Is there a worse #1 seed in history if they pull this comeback and Seattle wins? I can't think of one. 2010 Falcons we annihilated in the divisional round is a contender.
  2. It helps that Adams was wide open.
  3. This is four down football the rest of the game.
  4. Charles Davis nailed it. Rodgers finally just taking what he's given is proving much more effective. A lesson I wish he would've learned about two months ago.
  5. During the week leading up to the Vikings game, they scrolled a stat on the bottom line that Rodgers has the 2nd highest passer rating on deep balls this year. More proof that stats lie.
  6. There was a time Rodgers made those deep throws with regularity. Those days are over.
  7. As if this game wasn't going bad enough...
  8. They didn't respect them by skipping a practice. It's too late to start respecting them now. Once again, skipping practice shouldn't be underestimated. OK, I'm done now. Hopefully I'm wrong and they'll wake up in time.
  9. How many other teams asked for Christmas off? And how many of those requests were turned down? I'd really like to know. It's up to the head coach to do what's best for the team and so far it looks like a rookie mistake MLF made. Most everyone celebrates on Christmas Eve night anyway. Players could've easily adjusted accordingly. Dude, just stop. This is on the players, not the coaching staff. I think you are underestimating how much of an impact one less day of practice makes.

  11. Dropped passes, inaccurate throws, penalties....all signs of a team that isn't ready to play. Maybe they'll turn it around, but I think MLF got caught up in the moment during the post game celebration on Monday giving the team Wednesday off. A two practice week isn't ideal when you're playing for a first round bye. In fairness to the Packers, the short week and holiday certainly don’t help. The holiday is a valid point but the fact it was a short week makes giving the team an extra day off all the more inexcusable. I wonder how many other teams were given Christmas off.

  13. It's never going to be like that. There's no parity in college football. North Dakota State has won 7 titles in 8 years and is in the title game again this year. And an SEC power will face Clemson or Ohio State again. Second verse, same as the first. Yet fans of expanding the playoff think it will create fairness. The only thing it will create is more curb stompings.
  14. But it's always like this. There have been more semifinals where a team won by 30+ than semifinals with teams winning by less than 10. Fact is, the elite teams are just way better than the next level.
  15. News is out that Marvin Jones's infant son died. Tragic.
  16. Astoundingly incorrect, IMO of course. I guess it's a good idea if you enjoy watching blowouts before the championship game.
  17. Just your yearly reminder that expanding the college football playoff to 8 teams is one of the worst ideas in the history of the universe.
  18. Yeah, this should be a layup, but the fact this was a two practice week makes me nervous a bit. IDK what the Lions practice schedule looked like this week but if they indeed had a normal week of practice, that would give me cause to pause. I sure hope MLF knew what he was doing.
  19. Absolutely not! I don't want to be laughing during the Super Bowl unless we're winning.
  20. If memory serves the home games are Jags, Titans, Falcons, Panthers and NFCE winner and the road games are Colts, Texans, Saints, Bucs and NFCW winner. Is there something that determines home and away, or was this posted somewhere? There's a scheduling formula that the NFL has been using since 2001. 2020 is our year to play the NFCS and AFCS and alternate home and away games between those teams, so for instance, since we played Carolina on the road the last time we played the entire NFCS, we get them at home this time around. We played Jacksonville and Tennessee on the road last time we played them so we get them at home this time, and so on. I'm not sure about the at large matchups, but I believe since we played our at large game against the Niners on the road this year, we play our 2020 at large game against the NFCW on the road again. Then after we play the NFCW in 2021 we play our 2022 and 2023 at large games against against the NFCW at home.

  22. Marshawn Lynch officially a Seahawk now. BEAST MODE!!!
  23. If Stafford was playing I'd agree. This really should be a layup.
