  1. I'd like to know what the average length of start is for our starters in June, or for the year for that matter.
  2. At first I was laughing at the Reds for challenging that, but now Shaw should be embarrassed he missed the tag. Inexcusable.
  3. We might not see the Nelson of old until next season. He clearly wasn't ready for big league ball yet.
  4. On the bright side, West Coast trips aren't usually very good. Let's hope this is the end of this slump.
  5. I would think a pitcher would be more mentally tough after an unfortunate misplay, but it's amazing how often something like that can cause big trouble.
  6. I've already complimented the pitching once today. How many times do i have to do it in one IGT, for crimeny sakes?
  7. I know it's only one hit but with the work he has put into his swing over the past month or so, making adjustments, etc. one hit like that can change the confidence trajectory for him. That could be a huge, huge home run. He hit two or three home runs in a span of two games not too long ago and it didn't seem to help, but you never know.
  8. That's one less thing we can complain about offensively. Then again, a broken watch is still right twice a day.
  9. Great job by Albers. That was a huge victory for him, not a small one like Rock would have you believe.
  10. I wonder what it's like for one of our pitchers not names Davies or Woodruff to make it through five innings.
  11. Really, never? The Brewers existed back in the 80's you know. The Brewers have definitely never had a guy put up an 1.199 ops for a season, if Yelich stays on this pace. 1.200 has been done 20 times ever. Mostly by ruth and bonds. Thats rare air. It's a different game now then back in the 80's. You look at what Yount, Moliter, etc. did and it's pretty much the equivalent of what Yelich is doing. Kind of like a house that cost $50,000 back in the 80's is worth five times that today.
  12. Let's platoon Thames and Grandal at first the rest of the season. Whatever keeps Aguilar on the bench.
