  1. I remember when he threw his first one like a week after we traded him and thought "We're never gonna throw another no hitter again."
  2. He ended up on third... why did they call it a double??? Double and an error I assume.
  3. I agree. However, Lepay has a day job and will never do Brewers full time. I could do without his "break even" call though. It annoys me to no end. The Brewers should just let BA go to do his own thing and find someone who will do 162.
  4. LOL. What did I miss? A poster used Guerra’s not so good peripheral stats to say Guerra was having a bad year and was in the bottom 20% of relief pitchers, and anybody that thought otherwise doesn’t know baseball. Peripheral stats. Or as I call them, stats for hipsters.
  5. Meanwhile, that bum Schoop is having a solid year for the Twins. Go figure.
  6. He does drop a lot of pitches, but is his arm that weak? Not at all. Half his throws to second base nearly wind up in centerfield. Another 10% do.
  7. I know, right? Let's get the two moodiest players in the NBA on the same team in dysfunctional New York where the media pressure will rise immensely.
  8. Can't believe one of the worst relievers in baseball slammed the door on the Nats.
  9. So that's what happened to Dan Jennings. No wonder the Nats bullpen is last in ERA.
  10. That would be an interesting get. Bye Bye team chemistry, or maybe we can straighten him out? Dodgers sure got a lot better when he left their clubhouse. Better than two-time defending NL champions?
  11. Actually, a simpler move: Cain to DL Recall Hiura Shaw to LF (he's played some in the majors) Yelich to CF Braun to RF IF of Moustakas, Arcia, Hiura, Thames You really want to play Shaw ahead of Gamel?
  12. I'm guessing Cain will still miss about a week. Braun will just have to suck it up a while longer.
  13. Davies is doing yeoman's work today. If he can get out of the 8th unscathed that would be a huge boost for a rested bullpen. Does Hader have enough for one inning?
  14. You really have to think about demoting Shaw to the bench. A quarter of the season is almost gone and not only is he still an automatic out, he's not even hitting the ball all that hard. Hiura can't get up soon enough.
  15. Peterson trying to finish off what the wall couldn't, and probably did. I don't know how there can not be broken bones getting hit in the back of the hand.
  16. Wow, the Mets are going to have their bullpen go at least four innings after lastnight's marathon in only a 3-1 game?
