Aww Cain, lay off that 3-1 pitch. Would've been nice to have Yelich up with the bases loaded.

I can understand lastnight because people wanted the game to end so badly that they would cheer any fly ball and today because everyone would want to see Yelich homer in his first AB in a week, excluding pinch hitting of course, but other than that it has been pretty comical how we have turned into Cubs fans when it comes to fly balls. Hopefully that's the only similarity we have to Cubs fans. I shudder to think what it would be like to be a beer bellied fall down drunk, wearing my pit stained Kerry Wood jersey and starting fights inside Miller Park.

Nope. That would hurt us worse than help us. We rely on home runs too much to actually move him over and bring him home with any regularity. Additionally, Sedar would foolishly wave them in and get thrown out by 20 feet.

Rewatching the game, and taking nothing away from how terrible he was on offense, Bledsoe did do a very good job denying the ball to Boston’s primary ballhander in the backcourt, which paid off with several rushed possessions. -

Boston basically doubled their typical free throw rate, went better than typical from 3-point land, went 50% on midrange shots and still lost. -
