  1. The way Quintana's going, we might not even get two hits, much less two runs.
  2. I figure we're due for a dud game, but I'd really like for it to at least not be a self-inflicted dud. It wouldn't be a dud if it wasn't self-inflicted.
  3. Probably because Quintana's pitching and odds are they won't get two runs off of him.
  4. Note to Brewers pitchers: forget about the pick off at second. There was absolutely no reason to try there.
  5. Things are tight enough in the West where they would maybe have to use Kershaw on the final day of the season. I'm not afraid of Kershaw anyway. He hasn't been that great against us, and he's not exactly Cy Young in October either.
  6. The last time we let the Cubs use Miller Park as a home game they threw a no hitter.
  7. nah.. Dodger sweep might put them in the lead for the West, let the Cardinals battle the Rockies for the second WC. I agree. I don't get why some here want the Dodgers to lose. I would much rather have them win their division because we own tiebreakers over both Colorado and Arizona but not LA. If we take two of three in St. Louis later we'll own a tie breaker over them too.
  8. Aguilar looks worse than his numbers in part because he's hitting into too many double plays. Tha's what hppens when you hit behind Cain and Yelich.
  9. 10% chance of rain in Chicago tonight. This one might be postponed until tomorrow.
  10. Saw that half the dugout came out to congratulate Schoop like he just went Joe Carter and the umps told them to get back in the dugout.
