  1. This is going to be such a disappointing series. A wake up call to remind us how insignificant we are in the pecking order of the NL Central.
  2. Big zone, but it’s been all game. He’s fairly consistent. It's been for two years now. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone anymore.
  3. Munoz homers off of Scherzer. 3--1 Cards. It's gonna be tough to hold them off when they have been playing .900 ball the past two months.
  4. I completely agree with this which is why I typically never express an opinion on this topic while sitting on my couch. The one thing I will say is the Brewers-Cubs games I have gone to over the past couple of years haven’t exactly been a great fan experience. At one of the games last year, with the exception of one other couple nearby, my wife and I were the only Brewers fans within three rows in either direction. Sitting at Miller Park in the middle of arrogant Cubs fans isn’t exactly a great ballpark experience. We’ve been to a handful of Brewers-Cubs games at Wrigley, and for whatever reason those experiences have actually been better. Totally agree on this. It is not a positive family experience at all to go to a game against the Cubs at Miller Park. People don’t want to spend the money and take their family to a game where the opposing fans act the way they do. It’s hard to criticize other Brewers fans for not going to Cubs games because they aren’t attending the game for the same reasons as the rest of us. The experience is less than stellar when they come into town. It's because most Cubs fans are out on parole.
  5. Go Dodgers!! Not only are they my secondary team, them winning the division would greatly benefit us as we hold tie breakers over Arizona and Colorado.
  6. That's a loser! Brewers back in WC1. Now Scherzer can humiliate them tomorrow and start the Cards into a tailspin.
  7. CC doubling down on Guerra not pitching as bad as it looks. If he gets another start I'm going to lose my..... At some point results have to matter.
  8. I agree that the division is a huge long shot but how do you get 8-9 games out of that? LOL Because out of those six losses, how many games do you think the Cubs are going to lose once the games played are even? Two at the most, a Lloyd Christmas chance at three.
  9. I understand the frustration and I was fuming last night, but it'd be nice if the remainder of the bullpen could finish this out and we get them fully rested for the Cubs series. I don't have any illusions of catching the Cubs. They are way better than us. But we need to be at full strength to win that series. Yah, last nights loss sealed the deal in my opinion unless we play really well and find a way to sweep them. If not...no way. We were out of the division race three weeks ago. Five games back now and six back in the loss column pretty much makes it an 8-9 game defecit.
