I'm not so sure about that. The Brewers have always been glacially slow at making changes. Moving Suter to the bullpen met their monthly quota.

That's it. I'm not watching another Brewers-Cubs game this year. Certainly not a weekend series game. Life is too short. I'll spend my Sunday doing something more productive. Like cutting the lawn with a weed clipper. I've seen alot of bad Brewers baseball in my lifetime, but I have never been more angry about a four game stretch than I am about this Cubs series.

Which is why I said it may be immaturity, but there has been many a top prospect that has never panned out. Anyone who has been a Brewer fan for any length of time knows that. That is just my gut feeling about Arcia.

I mentioned this yesterday. The odds of him ever turning into a respectable hitter are pretty slim. Couple that with the mental mistakes he makes and I don't think he's the franchise shortstop he's touted to be. Maybe it's just immaturity at this point but I get the feeling that he doesn't have the drive to be the best baseball player that he can be like most players have and he is just uncoachable. Just my two cents.

I'm not sure I even want to watch this game. These past three games have been as painful to watch as any I've ever seen.

For what it’s worth, in the early 2000’s we had Rod Carew as our hitting coach. It didn’t help much. Rod Carew had alot less talent to work with though.

It's as if hiring a career .245 hitter as hitting coach was a bad idea.

I'm seriously wondering if Arcia should be our shortstop of the future. Yes, he can be amazing with the glove but he makes alot of stupid mistakes and will probably never be a good hitter. We already don't have a second baseman. The middle infield situation is getting ugly.

Do you honestly think this is a championsip caliber team? A playoff caliber team? If so, what makes you think that? History? I never said they were fake. What they are is average. I don't understand why this is so hard for some to wrap their heads around? If they turn out average, ok. Were you going into the season thinking WS? Because that’s your own fault then. No I wasn't. I've said in the past as well that last season was a case of overachieving. What I'm hoping for this year is a repeat of 2017, and then playoffs next season.
