  1. Is every pitcher considered available for today including Burnes and Hader?
  2. Cubs - 95 Wins (I HATE the Cubs, but they win and have plenty of high yield trade chips.) Cardinals - 89 Wins (PG is a stud and they are the Cardinals who just know how to win.) Reds - 84 Wins (Their new pitching coach along with their additions will pay off.) Brewers - 83 Wins (I love the Brewers but I truly do not think Cain, Yelich, or the bullpen will do as well as they did and I have little faith in the prowess of Thames, Shaw, Arcia, 2B, and the aging Braun who is going to reinvent his swing. I'm not as harsh as Fangraphs but we will have to see. I hope I am wrong. They had the chance to snag 3-4 FA not named Machado or Harper that could have really improved the quality of the team but got only one.) Pirates - 69 Wins (They are not that bad of of a team but are constantly rocked by teams in their division.)
  3. Y'all are crazy if you guys think Grandall is worth 18.56% of our (current/pre-arbitration) 2019 payroll. We could have made the Bumgarner trade and signed Lowrie and still have money left over. Way too much money and players in the clubhouse are all (except Braun) going to know how much less they make then this 30 year old catcher... https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/milwaukee-brewers/payroll/
  4. I do not like this signing. I do not think spending 18.25 million dollars AND third highest draft pick is worth the slight offensive upgrade. Grandal is a career .240 hitter and batted .241 last year versus .252 for Piña. Yes, he has a little more power than Manny (24 homeruns versus Manny's (adjusted for at bats) 13 homeruns) and the slightly higher OPS and WAR is simply not worth the money and draft pick. We could and should have used that money to upgrade second base where we could really use an upgrade or add a starting pitcher instead.
  5. C: Kratz, Pina 1B: Aguilar 2B: Schoop SS: Perez, Arcia 3B: Shaw, Moose OF: Granderson, Yelich, Cain, Broxton (Def), Santana (as a PH), Braun SP: Gio, Anderson, Chacin, Miley Bullpen: Hader, JJ, Cedeno, Soria, Burnes, Kniebel, Woodruff This is the roster I would like to see. Santana has looked great. He would be the first one out for me. First 3 out are: Jennings, Davies, Thames
  6. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/report-brewers-made-formal-contract-031941100.html If we acquire Yu, this would give the Brewers a nice 1-2-3 punch in starting pitching. Finally, a big move.
