  1. I’ve always considered it batting around if every spot in the order comes up in an inning. But, apparently that isn’t a unanimous, or even majority, opinion. For example, tonight an announcer might say “Wong is leading off here again in the 8th as the Brewers batted around in the 7th.” To me, it is when the first batter comes up again in the same inning.
  2. This is like Five Guys, where you place an order for fries and they just dump them into the bag. +1 had the same thing at pops the other day, I'm like WT
  3. Need to produce more or one mistake ties the game. He's given the crew many chances to blow this open.
  4. I had the chicken tenders and tots. They were good and followed it up with a loaded brat later on.
  5. I cared. I shucked out the money to go to this "Supposed" game. Thoughts... 1. Normally I arrive extremely early to games. This was not possible today, but we came up to the preferred parking exit at Mitchell Blvd.from the North at about 12:15 so I thought we would be OK. I have heard fans from other teams complain about the entrance/exit from the stadium for years. Today I experienced it. The Line barely moved. Traffic was backed up to 26 street. No Police officers directing traffic.....nothing but cones and barricades. Then we get close to Mitchel and we saw that everyone coming off the major highway into preferred parking could only enter 1 lane into the parking lot. One lane off a major highway for preferred......did I mention preferred parking. Then the long lines for the 8 metal detectors behind home plate where most fans come in. We did not get to our seats until the end of the second inning even though we were right outside the stadium exit one hour before game time. 2. After the game, the same treatment. Nothing but barricades and cones. You are on your own. This treatment is embarrassing for a pro team. Brewer administration, help you fans out, I felt used. You want to take extra money for preferred parking, treat it as preferred. 3. May not go to any more of these kids/senior citizens day games. Counsel treats them as throwaways. Been to three of them this year and haven't seen a quality starting pitcher yet. Saw a retread has been who couldn't get an out, a triple A kid who couldn't get out of the 1st inning and losing record Lauer. Funny...the prices weren't cheaper for these throwaway games. Premum prices....crappy treatment. 3 The stadium really has no bad seats. I enjoy watching a game there. 4, Like everything these days, the concession stands are undermanned but the people who work them apologize and try their best. No slackers here. For ballpark food, the menu is very good. 5. Today's game was poorly played, slow, and boring The scorer gave the Crew 2 errors but there were really 4. Only a couple of solid singles and Yellich's double were hit hard. The rest were lazy fly balls and easy ground balls. Not much hit hard. The Royals hit a lot of hard hit balls. Can't remember a crew hit past the 3 run inning???? 6. Losing 5 in a row at home is never a good thing.
  6. Uhhh, 5-8. 5-8 so just 6 games vs them remainder of season then. Maybe the Reds just hit Milw at the right points thus far this season. Offense struggles, Hader has a struggle week, umps create Brewers struggles, Castillo finds his A game as does all Cincy pitching. Having Suarez the Brewer killer come clutch. Lets see what the break does for the team and maybe best off all is immediately getting to play 3 games right after.
  7. What a mess. what are they 1-7....1-8 against the Reds this year? Can't score and hard to argue against the Reds are the better team right now. Lets see what Brewer management does about it.
  8. Wasn't the impression he was giving. The impression was they were done with him. He has more talent in his pinky than what they are putting out there at first base.
  9. I still have not figured out why they have not given Ryan Braun a call.
  10. i don't see enough offense for this poor performance against the Reds to not continue.
  11. So far the Crew has been outplayed, coached, pitched....everything. Freddie hung a curve that most players will hit out, Counsel and Yelly lost their cool on a crappy umpire crew that has short fuses. The bottom of the line-up is crap. Can't keep trading pitchers for crappy players. LoCane???????? who knows. He opted out of last year and has missed most of this season. How effective will he be?
  12. 'They had a great season" "They have something to build on for next year" "They did better than anyone expected." All the things the losers say. This game was a microcosm of the whole second half=A big choke job. Business as usual for Milwaukee.
  13. It was a surprising hire to me. A Lifetime 245 hitter going to tell guys how to hit. Worked the first half of the year and then the wheels fell off the wagon and rolled into the manure pit. I don't know what to do there. But you're right, the approach to hitting in late innings and extra innings has to change.
  14. Now I'll stay up for a few hrs all pissed off. I should be like my oldest who quit watching them last year. He said 37 yrs of frustration was enough for him. But I guess I'll die before I see any world series win. Even when they are having a good year, they are choking it away as usual.
  15. Yea, except half the time you guys "knew it was coming" it didn't. Which is why they're still in the playoff hunt. Don't get me wrong, they've been great and exceeded expectations. But when was the last time they gave up a late lead then snatched it back? Or their record in extras? They've outperformed expectations and yet lost so many games they could've won, I'd argue many more than they managed to win in a situation like tonight Exactly what history has said all 2nd half of the season
  16. Its why they have never won a world series and been in only one, Biggest bunch of chokers in MLB
  17. That's enough of thinking positive. I'm going back to being a pessimistic old __ __stard. That's what these chokers bring out in me.
