  1. Would feel bad for Freddy if he gets traded again. CJ Abrams would look great in powder blue.
  2. Let's get wild. What would it take to get Murakami to Milwaukee? His contract is Brewers friendly enough and the White Sox seemingly took a flyer on him hoping he'd do this in order for them to flip him to a contender for some long term prospects as they rebuild. I know they are technically in the pennant race on the backs of the AL Central being awful, but perhaps their GM knows it's a smokescreen and tries to cash in for the long term. Obviously we will pass because of his defensive inflexibility and the cost in prospects, but his power added to our lineup would be so welcome.
  3. Baddoo moved to 60 day IL to clear 40 man spot.
  4. That is so far off from acceptable and I'm usually one who pushes to trade prospects more aggressively.
  5. Hopefully someone new and ready to get to work hard and in good faith comes in ASAP so we don't miss time in 2027.
  6. 1. Woody 2. Miz 3. Priester 4. Harrison 5. Gasser
  7. I like this - last year we started with Dunn and Capra at 3B and ended up with Durbin being backed up by Monestario and Siegler. What are the chances that another contributor (Williams, Wilken, etc.) comes up midseason and provides roughly Durbin-like production being backed up by Hamilton and Rengifo. If someone DOES take that 3B job and run with it, I think it's a net positive overall.
  8. You could do worse for a bench guy when someone else emerges as a replacement midseason.
  9. I'd love the bat in the lineup, but I don't think they will be interested in what Paredes costs, money OR prospects.
  10. Seems to me like the Brewers got an offer for Durbin they just couldn't refuse - they never turn down good arms that they like and young controllable starting pitching is super valuable especially when you can develop it. Durbin is nice and I really like him, but he has a weak arm and is not great at stealing bases. I feel like we've seen close to his ceiling already. I feel the same way that I did when we traded Collins.
  11. I know the Nationals weren't super close to competing anyway, but they REALLY are booting their window a few years after trading Gore today. Any chance we might want to revisit this after stockpiling a few more prospects in the Peralta trade? Maybe it makes a Pratt or Henderson more expendable.
  12. Now that we have Jett Williams is it crazy to consider trading Pratt for Durran?
  13. I really like the return for Freddy, and while I know Meyers is super crowded out of our rotation and I still like the trade, it's gonna be super annoying when he's successful for the Mets.
  14. Sproat projecting asa groundball pitcher is appealing to us but his stuff doesn't jump off the page.
