  1. Graphic said we were 2/3 on the year. I missed that and I would have guessed they had more than just 3 attempts before that wow.
  2. Is it recency bias or have the Packers been bad at 2 pt conversions the last several tries?
  3. This got a belly laugh out of me lol
  4. My weather app is forecasting temperatures around 30 degrees and no precipitation for game time on Saturday, it also is forecasting wind chill so that it "feels like" 19 to 20 degrees. If that holds up I don't think that's going to affect players too much on either side. Aaron Rodgers was talking about playing in the cold on Pat McAfee's show yesterday, he really only talked about how when the wind chill gets way down in the negatives as being a detriment to playing and Saturday shouldn't be anything near that.
  5. My initial thought on Hurts being benched was it's entirely possible Doug Pederson didn't want to risk an injury to Hurts in a game that ultimately meant nothing to the Eagles. I'm not sure how much sense that makes, maybe very little, but especially with the reported rift with Carson Wentz how ironic might it have been if Hurts had suffered a concerning injury going into the offseason where they are likely parting ways with Wentz. Either way, I don't really care that the Eagles pulled their QB, I think there's a lot of overreacting in the media and general fanbase over it. To be clear, questioning and criticizing the coach's decision is more than fair, the vitriol that's added in is where I think the overreaction resides.
  6. You are trying to correlate an argument where MVS is the problem for the ENTIRE WR position group and thus the entire offense. Just stop, it's beyond awful. I'm really not. Would you consider any other receiver on the team a legitimate #2 behind Adams? I certainly wouldn't. Here's the thing, that's not in dispute. Yes I would like a better #2. That put MVS at #3 or #4 and still on the team. My original post was simply pointing out that adding better WRs is what they need to do before moving on from MVS, it doesn't stop at one or two players ahead of him on the depth chart. And they already didn't draft a WR so bringing that up over and over really doesn't address the problem in the now.
  7. And if this year results in coming up short of a Super Bowl again, how can you say the result is unexpected? Imagine if Bill Walsh had said "Who needs Jerry Rice? We've got Montana." You are trying to correlate an argument where MVS is the problem for the ENTIRE WR position group and thus the entire offense. Just stop, it's beyond awful.
  8. Add DBs dropping easy interceptions to the list of plays that have hurt. At least that one still results in a turnover on downs.
  9. If only there had been WR talent available this past draft. That's not even close to the point. I mean sure, but last I checked they didn't draft one. So how does looking backwards do anything for the now? Cut the guy that's getting open? Where are Lazard and ESB with their zero catches and one target each getting us?
  10. MVS is not the #5 or #6 WR on this team. Let's find capable replacements before cutting him, yeah?
  11. MVS giveth, MVS taketh away.
  12. Well as usual refs miss the obvious helmet to helmet.
  13. Sigh, always the Bears luck comes into play in games like these.
  14. Yep, there goes a challenge and time out, both are more valuable than just defending from the 40 as it stands in my opinion. Wouldn't they have gotten the ball inside their own 5 if it had been overturned? That's worth almost 40 yards of field position and gives you a chance for a defensive score if it has any chance of being overturned. But it wasn't. I guess we're just that scared of the Bears that them starting on 40 yard line strikes fear into our hearts.
  15. Yep, there goes a challenge and time out, both are more valuable than just defending from the 40 as it stands in my opinion.
  16. I question if this review is worth it.
  17. When I go to Culvers it's nearly impossible to avoid upgrading to cheese curds with my combo meal. I dunk them in ketchup. Not sorry.
  18. I definitely wouldn't put "inexpensive meal" and "Culvers" in the same sentence. I could just take the family to a sit down family restaurant for cheaper. Culver’s isn’t McDonalds $1.20 McChicken sandwhich cheap, but I don’t think you are going to a sit down restaurant for the same price as Culver’s. Pretty sure the kids meal is like $5 and even a meal for an adult is likely to be $8ish on average or slightly less. Culver’s also brings your meal to you free and doesn’t expect a 20% tip. Culver’s is between fast food and a sit down full service restaurant...and I think the price reflects that. If you are paying less at a family sit down place you must be getting soup and salad. Yep, this is what I was getting at. Culvers is definitely not cheap but it's not going to make as big a dent in your wallet as the next level up that requires wait staff and a tip. Their food quality makes it a pretty good value.
  19. It depends what you're judging it against. Obviously people are going to have different opinions but I don't think anybody praising it is suggesting it's a nice place to take the family for an inexpensive meal, you take them to Culvers instead. It's fast food and it's not even close to made to order, that's inherently understood going in. It's usually something you grab when you stop for gas or to pick up a gallon of milk or some beer or lottery tickets etc. The hot food is not usually the primary reason you go there. For what it is it's not that bad, as such you can eat it and think "I liked that". I've definitely had worse experiences at Burger King, not always but often enough.
  20. For the benefit of sourpuss fans, I vote no.
  21. Almost 6 YPC for Dillion tonight. Yeah buddy.
  22. Lol he needed help on the leap.
