  1. Feed is back up, sort of. Runners on 2nd and 3rd-top of the 2nd.
  2. Did I just hear that Lee is in the game? BTW, thanks for scoring Bernie. Yesterday's 7th inning has exhausted my scoring capacities for a couple of days.
  3. I wonder if they're taking sign-ups to announce Brewer games. Apparently everyone is getting a shot this spring. Is it just me, or does this guy sound a bit like he's on helium?
  4. Double play, feed is improving.
  5. It also doesn't sound like Sutton...are we getting a KC feed or something?
  6. Anybody else having major problems with the feed?
  7. I actually think the game was okay for the Brewers. The Brewers won the part of the game pitched by MLB ready pitchers. Santos and Helling both looked pretty good (though Helling is giving a lot of fly-outs) and Bennett pitched well (though shoddy defense by the 2nd team pegged him with an unearned run). Helling and Kieschnick both gave up solo shots, but there are worse things. Hart's performance is very encouraging, he came up with two run scoring hits off Halsey. The first team defense also looked very good. Both Branyan and Helms played solid D which is a good sign (whoever ends up starting). Weeks' hitting and Krynzel's triple are also pretty good indicators (though the pitcher's they were facing were not very good by that point). Pratt and Beltran cost the Brewers the game. I think Pratt has effectively pitched himself out of contention. Hopefully he's stunk enough that he'll clear waivers. Beltran was very disappointing too, he got lit up big time by the D'Back-Ups. I'd be very surprised if either of these guys made the club. What I like about this Spring training is that the Brewers are ahead early in almost every game. Several of our losses have resulted from rallys against pitchers who will not make our club. On the other hand, in most of our victories we went out to an early lead because our starters were able to hit their the oppositions best pitching. Similar situation here, I'm overall encouraged by this game.
  8. Yeah, my feed has been in and out all game. Luis Pena just gave up a Salami in the 9th. Arizona leading 14-11 now.
  9. Thought Noochie Varner sounded familiar Massbrew. Come on Russell, you want some Salami! Make Helms' one RBI seem puny!! Nope, just a walk.
  10. Okay, this is officially the most difficult inning to score in history. Hopefully Prince will just hit one out of the park. That's easy to score.
  11. Disastrous outing by Andy Pratt. Combined with his first couple outings, that pretty much crosses him off the list of possibilities for the major league club. Pratt's line. 1 IP 7 H 5 R 0 K 1 BB
  12. Very poor defense that inning. Bennett pitched relatively well, but Weeks slammed into Hall, preventing him from having a play. Hall botched a routine grounder, and Mosquero made an errant throw to first that Prince did not stop. Glad this isn't our first string defense.
  13. As it came from Jamey Wright, it was probably more like an 80. I agree though, those things hurt like a !@$#%$. Far as I can tell though, no results yet on the MRI, let's hope for the best. Helling's performance was better than last time, he seems to be a fly-ball pitcher now. 4 of 6 outs were flies, 3 flies were deep.
  14. Glad to see Hart having a great day (3 RBIs already). If he continues to tear up AAA we'll have even more depth at the corner OFs. Also good that Santos was able to pitch 3 scoreless (in a day game even).
  15. I'll start up a play by play now. (I just got here.) If anybody scored the first inning post it so I can paste it in. I apologize for the spottiness of this post, my feed is going in and out (and Uecker doesn't recap much). Starting Line-ups Milwaukee: (7-4) 1. Brady Clark CF 2. Junior Spivey 2B 3. 16. Yeah...end of the badger game rocked. Tucker will get the #1 play of the day for that shot. Filthy, just plain filthy.
  17. My Mistake, WTMJ is cutting coverage a lot with the terrible Brookfield thing. Heard Helms hit a Home Run and the score went to 5-0 assumed he hit a slam.
  18. http://graphics.jsonline.com/graphics/sports/brew/img/mar04/wes302.jpg = http://theimaginaryworld.com/zow36.jpg I wish my cynicism would advance to the point that it becomes a bad thing when a Brewer hits a Home Run. Not there yet, I'm glad to see some pop in Wes's bat and some added trade value. Jamey Wright needs to be summarily executed.
  19. Jamey Wright hit him on the hand. Lee left the game. NOT good news at all. Hasn't Wright done enough to us? Anyone know where he lives? Apparently his 5+ ERA and the ability to hit opposing players in the hands is valued by the Rockies.
  20. A "Brewer's Fever" epidemic on WTMJ!! The game must be close! Let's hope DD puts together three strong. Bout time Branyan gets a jack too. For all of you who managed to find a tv feed of this game I hate you.

  22. Daron- "I want Schroeder out, I want [Gord Ash] in! I love this guy" Now if only he would mention Rueben Quevado.
  23. Good talk about Sheet's Contract. Ash mentioned that ideally pitchers get 3 year contracts. However, with market changes the Brewers are shooting for a 4 year deal (3 additional). Options were also mentioned.
  24. JDLR has been great. Gord just said Rickie will not break spring with the MLB club. He also mentioned that Cirillo could fill in at 2nd. 12 pitchers and Cirillo as an extra utility man seem to be his thoughts right now.
