We all know about Corey Koskie, and now this thing with Justin Morneau. Concussions happen all the time in football, yet they come back sometimes next week. I'm just trying to figure out why its taking Morneau so long to come back.
I doubt we'd be "worried the other team will be mad" for starting a rookie, they probably would welcome it. It's probably because we want to ruin another team's playoff hopes, and starting Rogers could possibly hurt our chances of winning.
How are the stats meaningless? They are terrible. If he is hurt, he shouldn't be playing. Count me as concerned about Corey's outlook for the remainder of his contract. He could easily fall back into what he was for the last season and a half.
Name other teams where this "happens all the time". It doesn't happen the way it has for the Brewers this season and last with the Estrada fight. I'm not placing blame, but it seems that for the past couple of seasons the clubhouse has been hostile.
