I was listening to madison talk radio the other night, and owen murphy of the heller and murphy show stated that if he was doug melvin he would be after Jason Schmidt and Jose Guillen. The Schmidt comment I can understand but Guillen ? Owen never has any stats or contract info to back up why he would do anything. I am sure everyone here knows of Gullien's injury and attitude issues and that he made $4 mil last season and could come cheap as a free agent this season. To me it makes no sense looking at his numbers If Jenks was gone would we want him at the other corner ? Comments ?
Brewers should make an effort with Hermanson ,though I think a larger market team will give him more money up front, hmmm like the yanks and red sox maybe ?
I think it would be great if the Brewers signed this guy. We could put him on the bench and let him sit and rot so he has no chance in hell of beating out Hank Aarons homerun record.
I like the Hart, Hall, and Jenks scenario with Gross coming off the bench. Mench, I just never have liked the guy and he did nothing in his time with the brewers to endear me to him. Mench should fetch a solid young reliever for the 07 season.
I like the idea of the brewers being able to put Weeks, Hardy, Prince, Hart, Hall, Jenkins and Sheets in their starting lineup opening day. Thats seven Brewer draft picks. Bring up Braun thats eight. Thats pretty impressive.
i love bill,,, he says you got to figure either helling or gonzalez will come into the game for the injured ohka. who gets up in the pen ? Villanueava....way to call it bill
