We can at least put the Nationals in our rear view mirror if we beat them the next 2 games. 8 1/2 games wd pretty much put them too far back.

If the Brewers win the next 2 games we will be up 8 1/2 games on the Nationals. I doubt if 1 out of 10 predicted that. -
IF we could just win the next 2 games here, it would almost knock the nationals out of the wild card race and preclude them from being buyers. 8 1/2 games is a pretty tall order and they would be behind about 6 teams for 2 spots.

I like Burnes bc he pitches like a 5 year vet. Not a rookie. Last night he was going up against guys with .1000 OPS and he didn't budge. He threw fastballs for strikes in the middle of the strike zone. Not just painting the corner. Very impressed with him

The nationals, rockies, and giants are barely .500 and the padres suck. The tough team are 7 against the dodgers 3 against the braves and 2 against the cubs. I say 15-12 -

BA says he is so impressed with Lopez bc he went from getting shelled after the 2nd inning to pitching to the 6th. Really. How is it important for a last place team that draws 3000 a game to save it's bullpen? Lol.
