  1. While I don’t disagree with you, most of the products we use in our daily lives are produced under less than ethical conditions from our clothes, phone tablets, household goods etc you can buy just as much of that stuff from Walmart, Nike, Apple etc as you can from a Chinese knock off stores. If something is made from that part the world it’s an unfortunate reality
  2. I’m concerned that the limits of pitchers on a roster, and 28 in September is really going to put the Brewers at a huge disadvantage. The reason the Brewers made the playoffs in 2018 and 2019 was in large part to great Septembers which were great because of pitcher match ups that were made possible by expanded rosters. I know our Commissioner also talked about banning shifts in the past which the Brewers rely on. I wonder if our commissioner doesn’t seem to care about the small to mid market teams because doing things like this is the only way that clubs can be competitive with the big markets as far as thinking outside the box. Maybe our Commissioner wants his league to be top heavy in the future. I know this may seem like a dumb rant but if the Brewers cannot compete financially they need to find other ways to do it and if you take those ways away I’m just frustrated I Apologize. This is why I read more than post lol.
  3. Unless it was a sticking point in Johnson’s original contract why would you put a negotiating window in someone’s contract to began with? Seems to me like you asking for another organization to poach your coaching staff if they do a good job for a lateral move.
  4. That’s a pretty big “if” or risk considering if you pay schoop the 10 mil he struggles and then you can’t trade him cause nobody wants him unless you eat a chunk of the contract and thats a waste of resources for a financially cautious ball club. If he plays well enough for someone to want him that means he is playing well and you don’t want to trade him.
  5. I saw KJ Harrison magnet giveaway at Wisconsin Timberrattler give away today, reminds me of the Bob Wickman giveaway when he was part of Sexson trade.
  6. Thompson, Brooks and or Wilkerson would be my guess since Lyles can be cover multiple innings and would be same role as Brooks/Wilkerson would have. Plus doesn’t Lyles have better stuff than Brooks/Wilkerson have. Plus Brooks was only Promoted because the bullpen was taxed mid week and needed innings coverage since rosters expand tomorrow, or am I off base? Thanks for clarifying above on Dubon, you both are very knowledgeable
  7. According to Brewers website Dubon is on 40 man roster. I thought he tore up his knee shouldn’t he be on 60 day dL, thus clearing a 40 man spot?
  8. I don’t know if this has been said, but this is not going to look good from the rest of baseball fans in the country looking in. If I wasn’t a Brewer fan I would be thinking I want that team to lose They have a cheater ( Braun) and a rasict on the same team. I mean I can see the signs now instead of haderade it’s haterade etc, I know many may say I don’t care what others think but it has effects on sales and merchandise out side of our region or maybe If a free agent player will sign here or not or a front office person takes the job. When you put on the Brewers jersey you are representing the organization whether it’s right or wrong just like we represent our company that we work for in our everyday life by our actions. An example if we met a person that worked for Enron. Even if that person had nothing to do with what went on there they still may receive a stigma that many in the population would put on that person. My heart goes out to Josh Hader, I know he is hurting and as a person of faith. I hope many that he hurt will forgive him like we all deserve to be forgiven. I hope the clubhouse rallies around him if this truly not the person he is anymore.
  9. I would lock up Stearns to an extension just to prove this is a non story if I was Attanasio, he deserves one anyway
