Tragic end to a miracle of a run. I feel so bad for Grisham. See ya next year ladies and gents!

I mean this game certainly sucked, but not watching the wild card playoff game because of a bad regular season loss seems like the most over-reactionary overreaction of all-time. Exactly this. We're still in.

We get the worst out of us right now. Gotta come back tmrw and hope we can get gm 163. If not the Wild Card. Lets not stew over this. We're still in the playoffs regardless.

    Outstanding Brewers! Outstanding!
  5. Beer Out West
Nope. To the 19th they go. Just end this. Please end this.

Going to the bottom of the 18th. C'mon DBacks! End this one already!

Here's hoping for vintage Braun and Thames belting em out.

I'm worried as all heck now. This could be the type of injury that derails a career, not just a season. What a horrible shame.
  9. Beer Out West
    Well. Poop.

Wow wow wow. In a season of such highs and lows this one is such a beautiful wonderful high. Amazing game tonight. Proud to say I listened from start to finish. Made my worl night great! WHAT A GAME! :)

Love Suter. Awesome person. We really could've used him down the stretch last year. Lets hope he brings some extra mojo with him... we need it.

I like this move. I could see Faria as a starter next year, or if not, a very competent bullpen piece. Sad to see Jesus go, but this year's guy is probably the real thing compared to last year. Too bad he couldn't keep up his 1st half 2018 pace. Sad.

    Meh. Good. *shrugs*

My my my. Things are looking up lately. Even with Woody going down. Even with Gio leaving the game. I feel so good now about this team taking off and winning the division again. Gotta finish the job!

Thats gotta be one of the coolest things Ive ever seen. Baseball is the weirdest and most wonderful sport on the planet.

joe winkelsas agrees with you. Seeing that name makes me want to puke.

Shoot. Why not just put Gamel out there. IL Braun until he's better.
  18. Beer Out West
Going back to the more conventional lineup except Arcia batting 9th. Wonder how this will go?

Not a bit surprising. Hope he can turn it around. Won't be one bit surprised if he cannot. Jimmy Nelson is Exhibit A for why we need a DH in the NL. A stupid slide back to the bag may have cost him a great career. Protect the pitchers!

Sorry to see Hernan go. But you gotta perform. If you don't then you become expendable. Too bad we cannot do the same with Aguilar just yet, even if Aguilar is performing better. That will be next.

I am terrified that you're right and that this is going to happen. What reason could they possibly have at this point to not bring Hiura up? Shaw just isn't getting it done, I understand sticking with a guy who has done a lot for you in the past, but this is absurd. We need all hands on deck. Hiura provided that intangible spark when he was up, so why isn't he back now? This is mind boggling. You don't give up a young primo offensive 2B for anything except an amazing deal. Oi. I'm scared where this is going. Stearns is really blowing this, imo.

    Good start gentlemen!
  23. Beer Out West
Lineups are out as of 2:47 MT time. No Aguilar in the lineup, Gamel batting 9th.
  24. Beer Out West
Yes indeed, congratulations Mr. Fiers! One must be so nice, two must be cloud nine.

The only thing worse than playing an 18 inning game is losing an 18 inning game. Thank goodness we were able to win this before Chacin would've been brought in. Well done Brauny! Pitchers too!
