Nah, I've followed him for awhile. He's does miss on a few, but his track record is pretty legit. He's nailed a lot lately too. I haven't seen anything he's posted as a sure thing over the last few months not happen. It's pretty obvious he's got some pretty good sources. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the pretty constant patting himself on the back. A reputable beat writer would actually be on it if that was the case. He’s added no new information. He parrots what the main stream guys say and changes the wording and adds a detail or two. It’s literally no different from the “share homework” meme and it’s content people love to eat up. If you go through his timeline he shows where he has been right and gotten the scoop before national media. A lot of times they are scoops no one else had. He brags a lot about it on his timeline. He definitely has sources

This is true. Given that, it's interesting that we keep hearing about ongoing negotiations - if the two teams weren't even in the same ballpark in terms of the players involved, would talks still be ongoing? Trades can take months. Stearns has said before on previous trades that they started talking weeks to months before the trade actually happened. Especially in case like this where we don’t have to move him now. The secondary pieces will be key and that’s probably what the hold up is. This is a big deal for both teams. You want to be right.

There is no reason to trade Hader just for prospects. If that is the plan they might as well trade Yelich and do a full rebuild. Andujar will be the centerpiece cause he’s young and could be an impact bat in MLB now

Yankee guy @simonettisource on Twitter is saying Yankees are pushing hard for Hader and the Brewers feel YanKees are a match. Just a matter of if Yankees are willing to meet the high asking price. Gary Sheffield Jr also said on Twitter Hader talks are heating up.

I have no idea who this guy is or what his credibility is but @MLBMarathon posted on Twitter that Hader Yankees talks have intensified substantially over the last hour and they’re working towards a deal.

Rumor was they tried to get him last year too though. And as crazy as it sounds he’s only 30.
