Man, they must really believe in the AAA outfield. Makes me wonder if Wong might be next to clear room for Turang (and save money, which is most important)

    What a phenomenal at-bat

Luke Voit just makes so much sense to be the final offensive pickup of the offseason. What do we think it would take to get him? A couple of low level guys with upside?
  4. ntretts
Zero Top 100 prospects for Frazier? Is this an indicator of a buyer's market or just Pittsburgh really liking those 3 guys?
  5. ntretts
Really hoping the offense can come to life soon because this starting pitching is phenomenal. Currently 29th in MLB in OPS (.623) with a team wRC+ of 73. If those numbers get back towards league average I will feel pretty good about this team.

I don't see how he is any better than Piña/Narvaez. Why is this a major league deal?

Still think the Cubs are the most talented team in the division... Cubs 88 Brewers 85 Cardinals 84 Reds 81 Pirates 66

I'm going to need some talking off a ledge if this ends up lingering, giving Arcia significant playing time. I can't handle any more Arcia AB's mentally

What does everyone think of Eduardo Escobar? Posted a 3.7 fWAR for AZ last year and has two contract years remaining for $14.5 million total. Switch hitter and hits for some pop. He'd be my ideal target for third base, but I'm not sure Arizona wants to trade him and his affordable contract.

I really think they will be looking at a left-handed bat for third base. Kyle Seager makes a ton of sense

Would love this addition, but it's another right-handed bat in an already righty-dominated lineup. Have to think Stearns will pick up 1-2 lefty bats pretty soon

100% this. I would be more than satisfied with a Cron/Thames platoon at first base. Saves money for other positions as well

Joc Pederson headlining a deal for Hader would be absolutely awful... Just noticed Pederson only has 2 years of control remaining... you are correct. I'd take one of Ruiz/Smith instead as our catcher of the future.
  14. ntretts
I'd be willing to part with Hader and I think if they do LAD or NYM are most likely. I'd need someone like Joc from the Dodgers or McNeil from the Mets to get it done though. Relievers are volatile so it may be wise to cash in on Hader now and still compete.

Trent Grisham projected to hit 21 homers? Never really thought of him as a power guy but I guess with the juiced ball anybody can hit for power.

I desperately want the Brewers to move on from Arcia. His bat still hasn't come close to coming around, and his defense is nothing spectacular. However, there aren't many options out there to upgrade SS. Gregorius is all but certain to re-sign with the Yankees IMO and the other free agent shortstops aren't great. Although at this point I would take a potato at shortstop instead of Arcia. I really don't want him on the team next season.
  17. ntretts
Probably that 13-1 win over Atlanta a few weeks ago
  18. ntretts
Really interested in our future plans at SS with Dubon's departure...
  19. ntretts
This guy on Twitter claims to have an "internal source" telling him that the Brewers are discussing trading for Justin Smoak. Seems a little early to give up on Aguilar but I wouldn't mind adding him.
  20. ntretts
    Exhale. Nice win
  21. ntretts
    Let’s go!
  22. ntretts
These are some of the weakest hits I’ve ever seen...
  23. ntretts
Arcia is utter garbage at the plate, killing us out there
  24. ntretts
Anyone else getting slightly annoyed by Rock saying “check this out” on every single replay?
  25. ntretts
Don’t we have some streak of consecutive games at GABP with a homer? What’s it at currently?
