I’m staying in Tempe near the Phoenix airport and I’m going to 3 games. 2 at Maryvale and 1 against the Angels in Tempe.

Good for San Diego. They’ve got a great crop of up and coming talent, and it’d be great to see someone besides LA win the West. Not that I expect them to contend this year. -
I like this deal, only a one year pact. Never hurts to add another quality veteran bat without a big financial commitment.

The only way I can see Moose getting 3+ years is if Philly misses on Machado and gets desperate and turns to Moustakas. Otherwise, I don’t think his other suitors (Mil, SD, LAA) would be willing to go past 2 years. Maybe San Diego
