    While it is a stretch there was actually a couple of ex MLB guys in the league. Vern Giesheirt while he was in his early '50s still could throw. But there also guys that were lobbing up 50 mph curve balls. There was such a massive range of talent. There was a few young guys that were not that far out of college and minor league days that were still pretty damn good but there was a bunch of guys that should have been playing slow pitch.

    I don't know that his stuff will ever be mlb be ready. I faced guys with better stuff than that when I was playing senior men's in the '90s

    Kind of expected this. I knew the reds were eventually going to get there bats to come to life and they started stinging it a bit late yesterday
