    Ultimately Fickel was a bad hire. I don't blame Mac for doing it because it was the logical thing to do but it's just a bad fit on every level.

    I actually don't think this game is going to be as close as predicted. Iowa by 10

    UW finished the contest with a 44-24 advantage in shots on goal but still fell in overtime to Notre Dame three to two. Dominated large chunks of play but again the complete lack of goal scorers bites them in the butt. Have yet to score three goals in a game Seems like with high level goal scorers either you have it or you don't. Hard work will get some goals but the majority of it comes from guys that can shoot the puck.

    At this point I'd love the dodgers to do this in four and much like the election season get the damn thing over as soon as possible.

    I think this is actually the year the rebuild starts. I suspect this will be the low water mark for the next 3 years.

    I think the long snapper is definitely a factor. The guy for the 49ers is Dead eye Dan with every snap. Some kickers can probably handle it better than others
