  1. And when you look at turang's numbers over the last 30 games it's pretty awful.
  2. Watch how much bat re positioning happens during the pitch with Ortiz. Along with the front leg swinging about 3 ft horizontally. Horid mechanics Ridiculous.
  3. That thing was screaming hit me the whole way in.
  4. And Hoskins swings right through a middle middle fastball.
  5. Some really putrid at bats tonight
  6. Been trying to dig up video from earlier in the year and turang has definitely changed his setup and his hand positioning and bat angle during the pitch. Early in the season he had a relatively quiet hand positioning with a 30° angle or so of the bat behind his shoulders and he was able to get a better look at pitches. Now he's standing the bat straight up samurai style just like Ortiz then having to reposition. Not sure how hitting coaches with access to video for every pitch can't pick up on the stuff.
  7. Too many of our young guys insist on setting up with the bat almost vertical and then have to generate angular motion to get the bat to the proper launch point. Been watching Turang do it now as well and Ortiz is definitely doing it. Way too much wasted bat movement.
  8. From the looks of it we could have got Josh Bell for a song.
  9. A guy with a whip of 1.55 and we can barely get a base runner through four innings
  10. I think this one is pretty close to out of reach now.
  11. If you really want to have any chance of winning this game you're going to have to pull Ross.
  12. I never thought I would say this but if they have anybody that can fill in that third for a couple of weeks they may have to send him down to try and get him straightened out.
  13. I vote we use an opener tomorrow and see if Freddys problems follow into the second inning.
  14. Ross making sure I turn on women's gymnastics.
  15. If you could win the game tomorrow then you have our "ace" going on Wednesday.
  16. Left in in a cup holder in my van for a week in the middle of August
  17. Would be nice if the offense could go on about a 2-week binge and really stretch out the division lead
  18. That was like a give up effort by the center fielder.
  19. He's just so much more under control now. The head's not jumping around.
  20. All right. A little licing on the cake.
  21. We'll take all the help we can get.
  22. That does seem to be the curse of ex brewers.
  23. I would say Elvis's due to actually not allow an inherited runner to score. I mean at some point somebody's not going to score when he comes in.
