    Wonder how much different this season would look with a Paul Goldschmidt type hitter in the four spot. The lack of production from the middle of the order is just brutal.

    The fact that they have not gotten a decent homegrown hitter from the farms in over a a decade tells me there's a problem with talent evaluation and coaching.

    Fixing the offense is a multi-year project. Honestly I don't think they have people in management capable of doing it right now.

    Wonder if they fixed some of his mechanical issues? Like most of the hitters that came through the Brewer pipeline there was big problems with his front foot

    With the amount of money these guys get paid nowadays and the training and medical advice at their disposal there's really no excuse for being grossly overweight. Hell even pro golfers with a few exceptions are pretty fit these days.

    Is MLB.TV blacked out for anyone else? Usually with expressvpn I can still watch the game but not this one.

    The Diamondbacks lineup has such an advantage over the Brewers that it's going to be really hard to win games against them.

    I know we've tried this before but at some point you just need to ditch these guys and try someone else. It isn't like these guys have had a long track record of success developing hitters.

    Diamondbacks are no fluke. Certainly belong in the discussion as favorites to get to the series.

    Team BA now down to .228. Tied with Padres for 2nd to last in all of baseball.

    From a pure mechanics stand point the Brewers have some of the most significant quirks that you just don't see on most other big league teams.
