  1. If a young hitter wants to emulate somebody Freddie Freeman is a really good choice. Quiet feet simple swing and minimum head movement.
  2. And the rest of us hope you are passed out drunk by the 7th inning stretch! Let us know if you need someone to make a beer run for you.
  3. I'm hoping we have to send you the detox after the game if that's the case. I'm willing to do it for the Brewers.[/ chug chug chug
  4. This is not epic starting pitching by the braves this is epically bad hitting by the Brewers.
  5. Yup, once the pitchers realized he was nothing to fear his walks dried up. Generally speaking, I still think or guess he'll bounce back next year to at least be good again. I'm guessing this back problem was more than they let on. Probably will never touch that Barry Bonds level again though, that stretch was just unreal. If he has something going on with his back he might be out of the league within 3 years. Playing baseball is very difficult thing to do with a bad back
  6. Brave pitchers will probably get pounded if they throw the same thing against any other lineup.
  7. Two 100+ win teams will fail to reach the LCS. And if it's LA, it'll be one with a $267 million dollar payroll. As frustrating as the Brewers cold snap has been, it could always be worse. It's a lot easier to stomach when you have won a world series last year. Or for that part.... Ever.
  8. Why would you not walk Hernandez with first open?
  9. He should have been jettisoned after last year's debacle.
  10. I don't think the Braves pitching is actually that great. I am guessing the Dodgers take them out in 5....maybe even 4.
  11. No. The absolute inability to score runs will be the reason why this series is over for all intents and purposes. +1......and very predictable at that.
  12. +1....it has been painfully obvious they can't score runs without help for most of the year. I would love to see the percentage of their runs that came with help from the opponent(walks, errors, beans) and how it compared to the rest of the league. They did a good job of beating up on teams that wanted to hand them games and were trotting out AAA guys but when they face a team that wont walk them and commit errors they struggle to score. Even one of the 2 we have scored was a bean ball.
  13. Has a team ever been shutout 3 times in 4 games in a playoff series? This group is very capable of doing it.
  14. Following online on gameday they have had plenty of pitches well in the zone to hit.
  15. I’d certainly agree if we were rolling Willy Peralta. Can’t trust that guy. Actually Wily pitched pretty good this year.
