    Yeah, they definitely need to tweek that rule. Got a quick runner on 1st, ball takes a nasty bounce off the wall - outfielder could perhaps purposely try to boot it into the stands. However, that play was also a function of the short right field wall in Fenway. In most stadiums that ball would have stayed in play. I always assumed it was treated the same as a player knocking a live ball out of play.     Holy crap is Bucky going to be bad this year. I personally think the system and the coaching are so bad that only generational talent can overcome it.

    Not sure exactly what he did but the writing has been on the wall since the first game. I am guessing he and Chryst did not see eye to eye on things and he spoke his piece. Probably best for both to move on. I believe he did not play enough to burn his redshirt and that is why he did not play on Saturday.

    I really don't see anyone challenging them. They have outstanding pitching and by far have the best lineup to handle facing high-end arms. Houston is probably going to face them in the championship and that's the one team that can maybe give them a run.

    Someone with way too much excess time on their hands should go back through and find out how many yards per play on plays immediately after a timeout.
